Awful Neighbors
July 16, 2024I moved here a little over two weeks ago after seeing all the glowing reviews about how peaceful and quiet the complex is but honestly, living here has been a nightmare so far. Some of the issues I've brought up to the leasing office have been addressed, which is appreciated, but the amount of noise during the day is still enough that I can't focus on anything or relax at all. At night it's enough to keep me awake or wake me up, so I haven't slept well since moving in. The unit above me hasn't ...been properly maintained either, so I can hear every step the residents take when they pace back and forth for hours on end due to the floorboards creaking and cracking. They walk with their heels too, so when they do pace it's accompanied by stomping that rattles my apartment. If I had known the situation I was getting myself into I never would have moved here, but now I'm stuck in a one year lease that I can't afford to break.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

March 29, 2022My packages constantly got lost or “stolen” even when it was delivered to their front office, or send back. Upstairs neighbors were screaming all the time and nothing was done about it. Also, management is TOWING CARS FOR EXPIRED TABS!!! Also towed if the car is currently immobile even though we pay for a parking spot. Constant leaks, I could go on and on. Crazy neighbors
March 8, 2020Had noisy upstairs neighbors. Management, the apartment security nor the police intervened with this problem. My SOs car got broken into the first week of our lease. They lost our application information and were not ready for us to move in the day that was our move in day. Only plus is that it is close to the transit center.Review from Apartments.com
It’s ok
December 15, 2018Before moving in we walked the unit and was told that it was a fully renovated unit , it wasn’t clean and it smelled like dog, I was told it would of been clean before I moved in , so we left our deposit and after that signed my lease, on move in day unit was still dirty and nothing was taken care of , still smell like dog, on top of that I came to find out that this was NOT!!! A fully renovated unit and the price that I’m paying for rent I feel like I should be moved into what I was expecting to ...pay for which is a fully renovated unit , we all know that won’t happen, management sucks, most of the time they don’t answer the phone , and the hardly know anything.Property Manager Responded

Loved Staying here
July 18, 2018Stayed here between Feb 2017 to June 2018. New management is really trying to fix up the place from 2017 management. They've added new paint to apartments, updated security, and new apliances. Moving out was a breeze with no issues. I personally never called maintenance for any issues since I didnt have any. No theft either. Always good about giving a lengthy notice if any work was beig done or anyone was going to be entering the premises. July 15, 2018management is dishonest and entered into and agreement, but refused to honor it or even take responsibility for her agreeing to the oral agreement. Parking lots are always full, and garbage everywhere, residents fighting, SWAT Team had all bottom units surrounded near 88th, and flashbanged an apt. where a suspect would not come out, lots of Apt. fires here, broken hot water heater that leaked during the winter, very hot water, molded everything in it, etc... Just a hole in the ground dressed ...up. I only gave one star because i had to.Property Manager Responded

Save your money elsewhere
September 24, 2017I am glad I've moved out of this apartment complex and not have to deal with their new management. I was in good standing with all of my rents for over a year until the new management came in. They somehow screwed up the online payment system and said that I didn't submit my rent eventhough I have proof that I had it submitted online. They proceed by charging me excessive late fees when I ask them to wave it since it was not my fault and that my records never show I am late on rent. I was ...going to let it go but recently when I have found a much cheaper and nicer play to rent and moved out they found way to slash me again. I've cleaned and returned the apartment to nearly 100% of its original condition (I am a clean freak). They still manage to come up with enough charges to not only take away $200 deposit but also additional $375 dollars for replacement of items that was there when I first moved in. e.g: Wall need to be repainted (I didn't even do anything to the wall or damage it in anyway) I am planning to go dispute this with them but wanted to write this review before and after. I hope this is useful for new renters. Stay away from this expensive complex and save your money elsewhere.Property Manager Responded

We can tell you that when the new management purchased the property, a notice was placed on your door letting residents know that the old online payment was no longer valid since it was tied to the old owners bank) and that a new online payment system would be up and running in a few weeks. As for your deposit, please know that we offer a move-out walk through with residents and only charge to put the apartment back to the condition it was delivered (minus normal wear and tear) so it will be presentable for the next resident who rents the apartment. And, in most cases, can provide photographs of the apartments. We apologize if this information was not communicated to you.
