In terms of temperatures, the January low for Kent is about 36 degrees. On the other hand, July high can go up to 75 degrees.

Kent is unique in terms of the dynamics of getting around the city. The vast majority of people (73%) use personal vehicles to move around alone, while another 13% prefer carpooling. The use of mass transit, including King County Metro transit and local bus service, is not very popular here because only about 6% of people uses it. The remaining portion comprises of people who walk or cycle to work.
