Fire alarm goes off every two weeks!!
November 17, 2024The fire alarm will go off for an hour and a half every two weeks, I was awaken on my birthday at 7am, be so for real, they say they will fix it but they never do. On top of this, for how much this apartment is, the amenities are not even that good, gym is really small, not allowed to use the hot tub past 10 pm, the covered parking garage does not cover the fourth floor from bird poop. Also, the rooms on the fourth floor have terrible climate control, one room will be freezing while the other ...feels like the Sahari desert. You will also hear Logies bar noise if you are unlucky enough to get a room on that side. Choose any other apartment, this is an overprice scam!Property Manager Responded

If you want to live in hell Centre Suites is the closest you'll get.
July 4, 2024First off, the billing is insane. Explain to me how utilities for a 2x2 can jump up to $250 when one person isn't even there most of the time. Management never answers the phone, is never available to talk to, and will never get back to you. There were multiple instances of car break ins, extreme flooding, mold damage, and many nights where the fire alarms went of 2-3 times a night every couple of days.Property Manager Responded

The worst place to live
August 4, 2023They change the bills-utilities and they do not explain what it is so expensive, which can be over $200 just on electricity for a room 3x3. There is dirty poop for the hallway, many parties in the pool, some students leave open the door and you can loss your personal stuffs. My two bikes were stolen, and my packages from amazon several times were opened. Literally, help desk gave me an empty an broken packages, without any explanation.Review from Apartments.com
Never again!
December 14, 2022They bait and switched us on the utilities. They said they were included but they're not. They bait and switched on the price. Rent went up $ 100 the day after I told them I wanted a unit. At the end of the lease they pulled a $ 789 fee out of thin air, which I paid, but they sent me to collections. They towed my car in the summer when the parking lot was 95% empty and it cost me $ 350. The kids working the front are fine and the location is great. I guess the there's just not enough ...competition so they get away with jacking people over. I'm the dad/payer. Budget an extra $ 2k - $2.5K if you plan on living there. AWFUL MANAGEMENT AND POOP AND PEE EVERYWHERE. DO NOT LIVE HERE
May 27, 2021this is the absolute worst place to live. To name off some of the few things that are wrong and absolutely awful living here is you’re better off living in a dorm honestly. to begin with I knew it was a red flag to live here when they had a special going on if you signed a lease you would get a certain gift card amount, and I got a lesser value than what was being advertised and the rude manager Ashley said well I should’ve gotten it in writing ? There’s dog poop on the elevator walls ...consistently for days, fire alarms that go off a few times a week if not daily for hours, management is awful and will not ever help and they are very rude. low quality service they provide to residents As I said it would be better off living in a dorm instead of paying all this money to live in a crappy apartment. There is always dog Pee and poop in the hallways and it will stay there for days. I can always hear neighbors having loud sex and management never does anything to contact them. 10/10 don’t recommend living here it’s awful. there’s always urine in the elevator as well and the fire alarms going off for hours at a time it’s just God awful. please don’t live here I’ve lived here for two years and it’s so not worth living here. The location is nice and is one of the nicer apartments in the area but it doesn’t say much since there’s always dog crap all over the elevators and hallways. my car has been broken into several times and almost stolen over the past two years I’ve lived here and management has never tried to install cameras in the garage or do anything about the break-ins to prevent them more. I don’t feel safe living here nor happy with the fire alarms, urine and poop in hallways/ elevators. The two top managers are the absolute worst don’t ever expect help from them I have reached out to them multiple times for numerous of problems and concerns that i have had. it’s always also a hassle to get packages, the new guy and overall the staff in the office are clueless to any sort of simple questions one might have. One time I waited about 10 minutes for a package and I ended up just walking out. I cannot stress to you enough how much I despise living here and please do not waste your time or money living here. Horrible
March 18, 2020Although right by tech i feel so unsafe. lots of cars broken into/stolen and sketchy people. They management is horrible and it’s very hard to get maintenance to come do their job and fix the many things wrong with our apartment. also management never helps with anything. Inadequate accounting
January 24, 2020I caution anyone considering The Suites at Overton Park due to poor management and their abysmal accounting system. We set-up an automatic monthly debit for rent and utilities only to find them double and triple billing on a regular basis. The management has extremely high turn-over, are poorly trained and the staff is run by mostly part-time college students who are unable to help with such matters. We find ourselves still battling with them over the final accounting almost a year later. ...This complex has the ability to be good, but my suggestion is to stay away until they figure out their accounting and hire adequate management.Property Manager Responded
