Bad Quality Apartment – One of the Worst I've Lived In

I honestly wouldn't recommend this apartment.
The building is very old, and it doesn't look like it's been properly renovated in years. You're paying a price for a low-quality building.
The biggest problem is the noise. The sound insulation is terrible. You hear every single step your upstairs neighbor takes. If they take a shower, especially at night, the pipes make a really loud noise. If they play music, you're listening to it too. Even running a vacuum sounds like it's inside your own ...
apartment. If you work from home, be ready for constant interruptions during meetings because there's always some kind of noise.
The train is another huge downside. It passes close to the building, and the horn is incredibly loud. It blows several times every time it passes, even during the night, so getting a good night's sleep can be difficult.
The apartment itself wasn't in good shape either. The bathtub and sink were damaged, and instead of replacing the bathtub, they just painted over it. The paint started peeling off, which looked terrible. The kitchen cabinets were dirty inside when I moved in, and the refrigerator was full of rust. Overall, the apartment felt old, worn out, and not well-maintained.
I moved here because I read the reviews and thought it was just an older building with a nice atmosphere. I honestly don't know how this place has so many good reviews because that wasn't my experience at all.
If you can afford to spend just a couple of hundred dollars more, do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else. The difference in quality of life will be worth it.
