Built in 1929 as a hotel, the Chateau duVal is a gorgeous brick vintage building that has been lovingly restored to its original grandeur. When you enter the lobby you are immediately transported back in time to the days of the roaring 20s and glamorous Hollywood. A stunning ornate Italian chandelier casts a soft glow overhead, and you are struck by the peacefulness of this great old building. The apartment interiors feature high ceilings, beautiful moldings, built-in niches, original hardwood ...
floors, and colorful deco bathroom tiles. In addition, the owners have added ultra-modern stainless steel appliances to the kitchen, adorned a dining room wall with polished concrete and installed new 1920's style light fixtures, most with dimmers.
