THIS BUILDING WAS MY HOME FOR YEARS
April 15, 2022I am a former resident of this building. I lived in an upstairs apartment on the side that faces west. PROS:The space is adequate for one person and the units have been remodeled to include a small kitchen. It’s a nice neighborhood, close to the CBS studios, shopping, and museums. The building is rent-controlled. CONS: Street parking only. (I got a number of tickets on street sweeping days.)You’ll need to do laundry elsewhere, as laundry facilities are inadequate for a 20 unit building. There ...is heavy traffic noise until nighttime. There’s no elevator, so bear in mind that groceries, etc. will need to be lugged up the stairs if you live on the second floor. There’s not much of a view. MY OVERALL RATING is 4 stars. It’s a bit small for the price, but location is everything. The neighborhood is pretty safe and you must be buzzed into the building.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
