the staff is horrible

My experience at Chenal Pointe at the Divide was stressful almost from the moment I signed my lease.
Before signing, the staff was very friendly, but afterward their attitude toward me and my child changed completely. I dealt with constant inspections and complaints, and after I left a review about my experience, I felt like the treatment became even worse. A maintenance employee would stay downstairs watching my young daughter and me, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and like we were ...

There were also issues with the condition of the apartment when I moved in, including dog hair throughout the unit, even inside the oven and dishwasher. I asked for certain things to be cleaned or addressed and felt like I was constantly given a hard time.
I also had an upstairs neighbor who was extremely loud, including late at night. The noise became so bad that I had to call the apartment’s emergency staff and eventually the police. Even after the police had to come out, I did not feel like the complex did anything meaningful to address the situation.
Overall, I felt harassed, intimidated, and uncomfortable living there. It got to the point where I no longer felt comfortable with how my family was being treated.
After I moved out, they claimed I owed a balance that I tried to communicate with management and get the charges explained, but they eventually stopped responding to my emails. Instead of resolving the issue with me, the balance was sent to collections. This happened while I was in the process of trying to buy a home, which made the situation even more stressful because it was done out of spite.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this complex. If you do move here, document everything, keep every email, and take pictures and videos from the day you move in until the day you leave.
