I filled out an application and submitted my application fee and I put down a deposit on an apartment. I had to wait until the next time that I got paid to submit an application for my son, who is 20, because I couldn't afford to do it beforehand. When I filled out the application for my son, it showed that the apartment that I had applied for and put a deposit on was still available, so I submitted my son's application on March 16th. We HAVE to be out of our current apartment complex by March

But the people here at Chilton Village apparently rented our apartment to someone else and are offering to let us move in either on April 24th or they would prefer that we move in on May 1st. We are NOT moving there!!!!! There is NO EXCUSE for them to rent our apartment out to someone else!!!!! I don't have enough money or time to apply for another apartment. So, I'm just praying that we won't be homeless until I can find us another place to live. We will NOT be moving to this place after they've waited so long to let us know that we can't move in there when we need to. I found out today, March 22, 2023 and we have to be out of our apartment complex by March 31st, 2023.
They refused to hold the apartment for me with my application and the deposit because I couldn't submit my son's application. After paying them the application fee and the deposit, I didn't have enough money until I got my paycheck on March 16th. I had to go to the food bank to get food for me and my son because I wasted money on an apartment that they have given to someone else. So NO, I do NOT recommend this apartment complex to anyone!!!!! They will probably cause you problems like they've caused us. Again, I have NO IDEA what we're going to do so that we don't end up homeless and lose all of our furniture to our current apartment complex. These people are jerks and they have made our life extremely difficult right now!!!!!!
