Downhill quickly!
March 4, 2022I’ve lived here for more than 10 years and this place has gone downhill over the last two. Security is non-existent as of the last year, trash sits in the parking lot for weeks, the maintenance guys are kind and helpful but major repairs will never happen, the front office has one or two great people but the manager will avoid you at all cost so they can’t ever get an answer to actually help you, and the pool has black mold all over the bottom with half the pool chairs ripped up. All in all, for ...a similar price you can find a better property that is much safer. It’s heartbreaking because this place uses to be so beautiful until the manager cut so many costs that it’s just not worth it.Property Manager Responded

Dont waste your time here.
July 9, 2021Dont stay here! I've been at this apartment 4 months and I still have renovation tape on my kitchen light, no door handles on my bathroom cabinets. We have to pay for valet trash, and they don't even pick up at the times they are suppose to. Whenever I call the front desk, I am ran in circles about any issue that I need fixed. They always say tomorrow something will be taken care of or I'll receive a call back shortly, and it never happens. I tried to give them months to solve these issues, and ...still NOTHING. Dont even waste your time. Communication was amazing until after I signed my lease. Very disappointed.Property Manager Responded

Ripped of Without a reason.
February 24, 2020The staff here are very unprofessional and do not follow up with a potential renter. Their lack of decent grammar only adds to this problem. I could afford the apt they were offering and gave them all the information and fees which were about $400. I was the one that had to keep following up and could not get any information or answer. They allegedly contacted my employer but when I followed up the HR people had not gotten a voice mail or anything. So in the end they sent back the $200 ...deposit but kept all the rest. I could understand if I just didn't fit their qualification standards and didn't approve me. But it didn't seem like that was the issue at all. October 4, 2019I would avoid this complex at all cost. The new management is trying to third party everything so they don't hold any responsibility. Honestly, I don't even know why those office workers are there, they don't do anything but make false agreements then deny it later. 1. The unit I rented had a flea issue and they "tested" it saying it came up negative. This is all despite me catching them in my vacuum and bring it to them to show in the canister (and being bitten everywhere in my own home). I ...ended up having to treat the apartment myself since they refused to do anything. 2. If you see Regina working at the office just turn around. You will not be getting anything resolved or help. She just deflects all issues and nothing ever gets resolved. She is also veeeery rude. I'm not happy all the time either but there is no professionalism. 3. When I moved out, they stated in their e-mail that I would have 1 month to drop off the final check. They sent the debt collectors to me a week after sending me the final bill. The final bill was also incorrect and took time to resolve. They billed me twice for items and tried to charge me for not cleaning (I scrubbed that place spotless- had photos to prove it). Despite all this, I still had their check to them in less than a month. But now the debt collectors are harassing me since Churchill does not communicate with them. 4. I had a couple of straggler packages that could not be redirected to my new address- talked to the office worker about it told me they would be forwarded to my provided forwarding address and signed a form and everything. Its been over a month- nothing has come and when I went to the office to try and pick them up they denied ever agreeing. Chances are they threw it away or took the packages for themselves. 5. A girl died there last year due to poor security and the gates always being broken. They covered it up and would not allow any of us to break our lease. A man got into the complex and stabbed her to death and injured her roommate. The murder was not a resident. 6. Maintenance is a hit or miss. My AC unit failed in the middle of Texas summer and the guys tried to explain to me that my apartment always gets to 88+ degrees in the summer during the middle of the day, because I live on the third floor (top level). It took nearly a week to get it fixed. Generally with them if you want it fixed the first time you need to be home and watch them do it.Property Manager Responded

Horrible management and deadly place to live
October 19, 2018I would rank them lower but you have to give at least one star to leave a review. We live in the apartment right above where the poor girl was stabbed to death last month and had a package stolen from our door step by the same guy that might. I understand that when you live in a city, things like this happen but this apartment had a chance to make improvements to fix their security and waited until someone died to do any of it. Our friends who also live in the apartment complex had their door ...kicked in and their apartment torn apart a couple months before this and nothing was done to fix the security. At first it seemed like the apartment was finally going to step up after the murder, but now I think that all we got was a few new lights. CHURCHILL ON THE CRIME SCENE: AWFUL MANAGEMENT, UNSAFE PROPERTY
October 5, 2018Recently, a woman was murdered in this complex and you have never seen crisis management operation as unprofessional and insulting as the process Pinnacle Management operated. They didn't tell anyone that there was a murderer on the loose until 24 hours later and when they did, they didn't even mention a murder, only that there was an "incident" resulting in the "loss of life". He was still on the loose and they didn't have the common decency to warn us. Additionally, the gates are constantly ...broken, the grounded are unkept, and management is rude and unaccommodating. Any time you need something from them, they will pretend to empathize but only to get you off the phone. They know they are under no obligation to provide decent service since we are under contract to live there and they will literally say that to your face. DO NOT LIVE HERE.Property Manager Responded

Unsafe property!
September 26, 2018Do not rent from Pinnacle. They dont even have the common decency to waive the cancellation fees after a brutal MURDER (Churchill on the Park North Dallas on 5/21/2018) of a young woman by stabbing by a vagrant when it quite literally happens a door away from you. Very disappointing, do not recommend
September 22, 2018I have lived at this property for almost 8 years. When I first moved here the property was well-maintained. That's not the case any longer. The entry looks great but that's where the nice landscaping ends. The grounds outside of my building are dirt, no grass or landscaping. When it rains the sidewalks to my building become lakes. After the rain, the sidewalks are covered in mud. Very disappointing. I've spoken to the office about this several times. This was once a great property. Then there is the office staff they are absolutely amazing, they are always so kind and caring when we go into the front office. DON'T MOVE HERE
February 17, 2017***DON'T MOVE HERE!!*** Unfortunately, after 7 years of residency I can no longer recommend Churchill on the Park. My family has lived here since Nov. 2010 and never had an issue. Recently an abusive and dangerous tenant has moved into our building. The situation has reached the point of action, that should solely be the responsibility of the apartment staff, and though assure many times it would be resolved, tonight I received a SUBPEONA to appear in court to address the situation and bail out ...the managers. I find it ABSURD that an apartment management staff, who gets to leave at night and go to thier homes, would expect other tenants in the community to go to court and deal with their mistake. I cannot express my disappointment enough that a corporate entity would allow it's tenant to be put in this situation. The sheer irresponsibility is ridiculous. I live here! My family lives here! My car is parked here! We should not be put in a situation to deal with their blatant mistakes and put my family at risk. We have lived here for a long time and I'm truly disappointed to write this review, but I feel it's incredibly necessary for new tenants to know the potentially dangerous situation that Churchill on the Park and Greystar have no problem putting their residents in. April 12, 2016We have lived at these apartments for almost 9 months and love it here!! The women in the office are super nice and friendly and always say hello. Maintenance is amazing and they respond to your problems almost immediately and are courteous and knowledgeable. The vibe here over all is great and everyone is very friendly.
