Getting run down...
July 28, 2025I lived at Civic at Frisco Square for ~3 years. While the location is convenient and the maintenance staff was kind and responsive, the overall experience declined over time. The main elevator by the loading area was down for over a month during my move-out, making the process harder — with no apology or support from management. Communication was inconsistent, lease renewal info was so delayed we ruled a renewal out, and management turnover was frequent. Despite branding itself as a luxury ...complex, in-unit washer/dryers aren’t included, the clubhouse isn’t usable for remote work, and parking is both limited and monetized. When I asked about placing a moving POD, I got conflicting answers and zero help — even after being a long-term tenant. I hired a professional cleaner upon move out, but they still charged me a cleaning fee upon move out and included other bogus line items. The actual units are average, the gym is outdated, and rent feels overpriced for what you get. Civic looks good on the surface but fails to deliver a solid resident experience.Property Manager Responded

Like a prison
October 9, 2024This place is the worst place I have lived and the most expensive. They treat you like a child. The warden comes by often for monthly inspection. The common areas and pool is gross. It is not well maintained. The units are not well maintained.Property Manager Responded

Not recommended at all.
May 13, 2024I would not recommend this property to anyone. The construction of the building is poor and looks to have been rushed. For example, a hole that was cut in the ceiling for a light fixture was cut too large leaving a gap around the edge of the fixture. There were other issues including poorly installed cabinets, cheap materials used for installation, and existing damage left from previous tenants that was never repaired. There was a gap under my front door that let in bugs from the open hallway. ...This would also make a howling sound if it was windy outside. The hall that I lived on always smelled like marijuana on a normal basis. Other tenants would constantly leave trash bags outside their doors lying on the ground. Upon moving out, I was charged for a sound bar remote that they claim was missing. This missing sound bar remote was never there or accounted for in the lease agreement when moving in.Property Manager Responded

The Civic is the place to be in 2024 Frisco
April 24, 2024These apartments are in the heart of downtown Frisco. The apartments themselves are also fantastic. Everything is clean and well taken care of. I love it here. Disappointed
January 25, 2020I am here most days of the week as I visit my family friend, my friend has resided in the Civic going on 2 years now. I have heavily considered getting an apartment here in the past because of the area and the ease to work. However, from being here very frequently I can assure you it's not as nice as it comes off to be. The walls are very thin thus you are able to hear your neighbor's conversations with the slightest of ease. During the summer you are able to hear profane music coming from the ...pool area even though the pool area has its own streaming music, some residents feel the need to impose their music on everyone. The management also seems to only care about enticing new residents but doesn't seem to care about the ones that have remained loyal here for years as I have also talked to others at the pool about their frustration with the management. With all the new apartments being built around the Frisco Square area I'm surprised they aren't trying to keep their loyal ones from leaving. If I was to look again I'd wait for one of the several ones to open as I'm sure they are more updated and will provide many offers.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Terrible experience, DO NOT RECOMMEND
May 7, 2019I lived at this place for two years, and am extremely glad my stay there is over. There are 3 other apartment complexes less than two blocks away that you can choose from (if you are married to the location). There was no expectation of privacy (people entering my apartment every month), my kitchen sink pipes kept busting out, there were leaks in the apartments above and beside me, they changed management companies, the current management is rude and SHADY.... Horrible management
September 21, 2018By far the worse rental experience ever. Don't be fooled by the beautiful pictures or lies the leasing consultants feed you. Management is horrible. Christine and Dana are rude and extremely unprofessional. They disregard evidence and choose to act out of malicious emotions than facts. They disregard your questions and concerns, do not return calls or emails, and then blame you for not communicating. Horrible. Just moved in and love it!
May 25, 2016Everything is brand new and the staff is wonderful! I love living in Frisco Square where you can walk to almost anything. I moved into a one bedroom on the first floor and it came with a 60" TV and soundbar and my apartment has 14 foot ceilings! I will live here as long as I can!Property Manager Responded
