A little pricey, overall pretty nice

I really enjoy living at these apartments. The pool is always nice and clean (and free in the mornings!) and facility is locked. Laundry is cheap and residents are pretty good about not leaving clothes in there. Our appliances are upgraded, everything is working well and efficiently, and it was very clean when we moved in with new paint and carpet, minus one terrifying cabinet full of rotten vegetables that somehow no one noticed the whole time it was being renovated. Its pretty big and spacious, ...
plenty of closet space for a one bedroom unit. The Fresh and Easy and El Super supermarkets are in walking distance as well. Manager is great, just a bummer she isn't always there if you lock yourself out. Repair guy is nice, we needed emergency plumbing once and they were prompt and friendly about it.
Some negatives are that there are some kids that can be pretty loud, but they aren't too bad. You pay for trash, sewage, and water through a 3rd party company which is a little annoying and makes the apartment feel a little bit over priced, though still competitive for the area. Our unit is in the corner so it is also a bit dark. There's no bike parking in the common area which makes it difficult for us on the second floor. Lastly, the residents in the apartment complex next door are sometimes loud.
All in all, good, safe place to live.
