December 24, 2025I have now been at Cortland for 5 months. It was a rocky move-in with some issues on their end, but ultimately management assisted in getting it all worked out. Now that I’ve lived here for a bit I love it. Community is very friendly, as is all the staff. Amenities are great, pools are always spotless. Kayak dock is a huge plus if you’re a water person, although it definitely needs an upgrade. I love that they have a non-smoking policy, even though people don’t always follow it. They have an ...online system now to contact staff/report issues, which is nice and fairly fast. Overall I am very happy here with my choice and glad I chose Cortland. They do seem to make more of an effort with their renters than other places I’ve seen. So far so good.Property Manager Responded

October 27, 2025Location is very convenient, especially if you travel frequently, it’s not far from the airport. If you enjoy walking, the Longboat Key neighborhood is great for that at any hour. When I toured the property, I actually saw manatees floating in the channel, which made the place feel even more relaxing. I really enjoy having 24-hour access to the gym, and the pickleball courts are a nice bonus. If you ever have an issue with noisy neighbors after quiet hours, the management team handles it quickly ...and follows up to make sure it’s resolved.
