The most recent one regarding someone banging on a woman’s door early in the morning due to rejection, and Cortland Staff doing nothing about it, scares me as a woman who lives alone. Cortland staff know that there are problems with amenities and resident behavior in this building but they don’t address it due to lack of commitment to their job or favoritism of residents. Almost every single appliance was changed in our unit within the first year. Mind you this building is only 5/6 years old. And to be quite honest, I have a washer and dryer that should be switched out, but I’m tired of complaining. It took me a year solid to convince them that our air conditioning wasn’t working, and for them to fix it. It ...literally had to catch on fire for them to do something about it, and then they told me it didn’t. My partner was home working thankfully so nothing horrible happened. Bottom line if you wanna market and charge me as a luxury brand. I’m paying to not argue about maintenance, general cleanliness of the building, smells/temperature of the hallways.
