Living at Cortland New Albany has been a great experience. I really enjoy the beautiful community, well-maintained amenities, and peaceful atmosphere. One of my favorite things is the sense of community among the residents everyone is friendly, welcoming, and it truly feels like home. The property is clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, making it a wonderful place to live.

The staff are pleasant and maintenance comes fast, but the appliances (HVAC, dishwasher) are outdated and cause several issues.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback regarding our community. We agree, our service team is pleasant and quick to get things done! We understand your concern regarding the HV/AC and dishwasher. As appliances begin to age, we do make every attempt to replace parts that need replacing. If for some reason we can not repair an appliance we do replace them with a new one. We are currently upgrading all our HV/AC systems in our townhomes to stronger more efficient ones.

Been living here for 7 months. I live in the most expensive unit the Warwick. We got the townhouse with our wood floor being damaged with dust and debris coming out of it. I’ve talk to management and even called into the Cortland head office in Atlanta. They told me they can’t fix it and gave me a defective unit. Also, I’ve complained about the marijuana scent coming from my neighbors to the management multiple times. Nothing has been done about it even though it is a no smoking community.

There are times, due to the age of our community, we do have items within the apartment that are conditional and noted at move-in. We are a non-smoking community and act on every concern and complaint regarding those residents who break this rule. Unfortunately, in some cases we must reach out to the offending resident multiple times after receiving a complaint. If you are still experiencing a neighbor smoking, please contact our office so we can reach out to your neighbor again regarding our no smoking policy.
