Crazy rental terms!

The requirements to even just get past the application are way crazier than any place I’ve ever seen. I wouldn’t waste your time to be honest. If that’s what you have to do just to apply to live here I can’t even imagine what living here would be like.
Lousy Policies, Despite Good Residence & Staff

Office staff are good and maintenance staff are excellent and responsive, however despite being an exceptional tenant for six years with no late payments, no disturbances, living area in top condition and left the premises as clean as we found it, Covington ownership (likely) seems keen on nitpicking over minor issues to hold back on large portions of security deposit. We enjoyed our location and time, but would never rent here again.

I'm sorry to hear your move out experience left you feeling disappointed. We certainly never want a resident to leave feeling that way. Security deposit deductions are only made for cleaning and damages beyond normal wear and tear, but we understand that move out charges can sometimes be frustrating, especially after calling a place home for many years.
We truly appreciate the time you spent with us and wish you nothing but the best in your next home.

When I first toured this complex I thought it was wonderful. It was clean, it had a great pool. It has a dog park and I was happy to move in here. But once you do, the leasing manager becomes your worst enemy. She is one of the most disrespectful people. I have had the unfortunateness to have to deal with, if I could move out tomorrow. I would!!!

I cannot say enough good stuff about Covington Place, and the management!
First, Lisa was outstanding in getting us set up and providing a smooth check-in process.
Second, the place is pet friendly with locations across the property to dispose of a dog's business, but they also provide clean up bags at each station. The grounds are well maintained and there's a great little dog park on the property!
Third, there's a great looking pool (closed right now due to COVID-19, but it looks fun once ...
it opens back up).
Fourth, the property is in a great location and is just beautiful in general.
Lastly, during the move-in walk through Lisa said if we found any minor repairs or damage to let her know. The next day I found a few things (old damage from prior tenant). I told Lisa and she marked it down right away so I won'tbe charged when my lease is up. Then, I found some damage that needed repair. I stopped by her office and let her know, and within an hour it was serviced and fixed! Prompt, excellent service.
I cannot recommend Covington Place enough.

Good people, bad company

Company is super money-hungry. The grounds are beautiful, but the apartments are nowhere near updated enough to justify the base price, and the yearly rental increases. In addition, they sent a nasty email when COVID hit saying that rent was still due on the first, regardless of your situation. Not a great way to acknowledge your paying tenants, many of whom are struggling right now.

I have been at Covington Apartments for 4 years now and everyday still feels like home.
I like going into the office and always seeing smiling faces, when I call in a work order it is done the same day, the peacefulness of the area, a great swimming pool....I know right now we can't do these things but all in due time we will get back together and feel the friendliness again.
So making home is a happy one!
