November 22, 2025no riff raff allowed! pay your rent, be resoectful and kind to your neighbors and you'll really appreciate this complex. Old. yes. needing updates? yes. Safe? yes and be aprt of keeping it safe and you will really appreciate this place. I lived here for 20+ years and cannot tell you how very much I appreciated our on-site managers, how easy it was to get in touch with the owners, and I had the BEST neighbors! I met many people who had lived here years ago and life choices required moves.... and ...when they returned to Michigan, they returned to Crescent Manor. Good people are always welcome! This Apartment is the WORST!
February 6, 2014Upon meeting the Landlord, she seemed very nice and genuine but it is false. She deceived me about several things that I was concerned about when I signed the lease. I asked how often the planes flew over the apartment and was it loud. She replied with they only come in at night and you can barely hear them. This was a complete lie. They come every hour, from large ones to small ones. It is like the scene from 'Waynes World' when the two sat on the hood of Michael Myers car when the plane flew ...above them. They are so close that you can touch them. She also promised that she would have several things fixed before my move in date and they never were. When I brought it up to maintenance (which is her 70+ year old husband) he replied that it was important enough to fix. Also, the walls are thin and you can hear everything. The front doors have a huge gap around it so everything can be heard from outside. The laundry machines are old and broke down. The heating and cooling is terrible. The vents are so full of dust that the air doesn't circulate. The hallways to the apartments haven't been painted in years. It ALWAYS takes around 5 minutes to even get out of the apartment complex because of such bad traffic from both directions. The police station and fire department are down the street has its advantages but you will hear blaring sirens on an hourly basis. I could keep going but Ive got stuff to do.. like buying ear plugs and alcohol.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
