Started off great.. Ended horribly
August 9, 2024We lived here for about 7 years. The complex changed ownership maybe twice in that time and Mission Rock did a pretty awful job in the end. We were recommended a cleaning service to use by them for our move out cleaning (Spruce) and they did basically nothing. We ended up getting charged $1500 on top of the cleaning fee we already paid, and several items on our list of charges were absolutely bogus. We paid a non-refundable security deposit to cover things that we were eventually charged with, ...so I suppose that deposit went down the drain as well. We tried contacting them to discuss the charges but never received a call-back and then they just sent it to collections. The apartments themselves are made poorly, using the cheapest, thinnest materials available. We reported several issues to management and maintenance that were never resolved, one of which being our front door not opening or closing properly so resident safety is of no concern to them. I don't recommend living here. Not while under Mission Rock anyways.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Renters Beware - 1 star for a reason
July 5, 2024I lived there for over a year with constant maintenance issues. Communication with the office staff is terrible, forget about hearing back when leaving a message or email. The place is run down, windows in the apartments are paper thin, so expect your energy bills to be sky high. When I moved out I was charged a carpet wear fee, even though I didn't have any animals and documented the carpet was never installed correctly in the first place 3 months into my lease. If you smoke weed this is the ...place for you!! My neighbors smoked constantly and the smell would come through the walls so badly my clothes would smell. Complained to mgmt office, no effort ever made even though it's in the lease that you can't smoke inside. Besides cars being broken into, and the police present to arrest criminals daily, I wish that I had spent the extra few dollars to move somewhere else. Crestone Review 2022
January 30, 2023Lived here since Jan 2020, great location, quite and clean grounds. Processed a transfer this week and Jessica was the best, prompt, professional and engaging. The whole team in the front office as well as grounds crew are excellent and responsive. I chose this complex due to it's proximity to the highway and a huge park with a bike trail. June 23, 2022We were happy when we first moved here but over the years, our experience has drastically declined. The management team was great when we first signed and then it was horrendous. Now there is a new team and we haven't had much interaction with them. Sometimes they respond to issues and other times they don't respond at all. The maintenance team is fairly lazy when it come to repairs and following directions. There are often areas and amenities that require more maintenance than they currently ...receive and there are many areas which are not maintained at all. The dumpsters are used by the landscaping crew and accumulate a lot of trash and furniture when people move in or out (leaving large items like this is against the rules). The community is noisy. Lots of people blasting music, slamming doors, kids screaming at all hours of the day and there are no policies in place or none that are enforced to relieve this issue. I honestly cannot wait to move out of this complex. There are always issues that remain unresolved and it is frustrating to be a resident who follows the rules watching everyone else break them. Additionally, the cost of rent is outrageous for the amount of trouble there is in the complex. Not worth the cost at allProperty Manager Responded
