Roaches never solved
March 9, 2025This situation is absolutely unacceptable and beyond infuriating. The persistent and severe roach infestation in this apartment is nothing short of a nightmare. Despite repeated attempts to address the issue, the problem remains unresolved. I have attached photos and videos as evidence. Over the course of three months, pest control was sent to treat my studio twice, yet their efforts were completely ineffective. Within days, the roaches returned, infesting my living space. I was forced to endure ...this horrifying environment—waking up to roaches crawling on my face while I slept. They were everywhere—crawling through the kitchen, the bathroom—an absolute disgrace. The management and pest control company claim they are willing to schedule treatments every Friday, but they show complete disregard for the residents’ time, well-being, and the immense inconvenience this causes. They act as if scheduling another treatment is a solution, completely ignoring the fact that residents have jobs and responsibilities. Each treatment requires removing personal belongings, putting everything back only for the roach problem to persist due to ineffective treatment. This is negligence at its finest. To make matters worse, the apartment management exploits its residents financially. When I moved in, I was given a repainted, deteriorating bathtub. After living there for two years and seven months, the paint inevitably started peeling. Instead of addressing their subpar maintenance, they had the audacity to charge me $360—essentially the cost of a brand-new bathtub—knowing full well they would simply repaint it again for the next unsuspecting tenant. I have attached photos as proof. To anyone considering moving into Crystal View—do not do it. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and financial exploitation. poor management
March 20, 2023I've been living there for almost two years. At first , it was fine. But then everything changed, my husband's work truck had gotten construction tools stolen. We called the police and made a report. I went to management, nothing was done. Then his work truck had a broken window during broad daylight, it was broken into. They took tools about a good $500 dollars. Then my husband's jeep got unraveled and they tried to steal it in the bottom parking lot. nothing was done again. According to ...management, the cameras never catch anything. When police call to ask about recordings, nothing is done or received from management. Last they went onto our 3rd floor studio and stole a 5, 500 road bike at 5:29 am on March 17th , 2023. I went over to thr office and said my bike could not replaced. sketchy people are always walking in and out because the gates dont work or doors are fully open to come in. nothing gets done !Property Manager Responded

Poorly Maintained
February 2, 2023When I first moved in 2 years ago I had a wonderful experience, facilities and amenities were well maintained and maintenance was prompt to come by and solve any problems. In the last 6 months or more however everything has gone down hill. Custodial cleaning services are much less frequent, gates onto the property are consistently broken, laundry facilities are highly inconsistent and frequently have broken machines. Finally this issue that has prompted me to write this review, the elevator in my ...building has been broken for about 3 months now. I went to another connected building to use their elevator and it is also not working. This resulted in me hauling 50 lbs of cat litter up three flights of stairs, fortunately I am able to do this but I feel like this is a big issue for anyone who may have a disability or other condition that would prevent them from being able to hulk out when elevators are broken. I submitted a maintenance request about the broken elevator and was given excuses as to why it could not be promptly fixed and estimate as to when it might be back in working order. The owners are aware of the problem, but over a month has passes since my initial maintenance request and nothing has changed. This is abysmal and for the cost of rent absolutely not worth it. If you are thinking about renting here, I would recommend looking elsewhere.Property Manager Responded

Too many issues
July 22, 2020First off the rent is crazy expensive for no reason, secondly there is a cockroach infestation. No matter how much you spray or put traps out they will still infest your apartment, earlier during the year they put a notice on my door stating they were going to come in and spray for pest the following day.. well it just so happened that I had that day off and not once did I see them spraying outside not even come into my apartment to do their job. Lastly there are sketchy people that walk inside ...every night from the street and dig through the trash bins and make a mess of the area searching through the trash.. yes this place is gated 100% but 90% of our stay the parking lot gate was broken so anyone could come inside.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
PRICEY apartments- They dont follow up on maintenance issue
June 28, 2019Have lived here for 5yrs, never had any problems paying my rent, my apartment is well kept, yet everytime I have an issue where I need my screen door fixed or I need something fixed I will wait FOREVER, I mean months. Yet the apartment management is very quick about leaving letters at my door saying they will charge me $75 if I dont remove a plant that is hanging in my patio, by the way the plant is very small. Smells like a flat house every night
April 5, 2019You might have wondered why this apartment is so cheap compared to the others in the area. The pictures look great, the list of amenity is great, and even the actual look from outside during the day is great (especially when you visit their stellar management office). Well, there is no such a thing as a deal too good to be true. This apartment smells like weed every night since tenants smoke weed every night at patio. Roaches are everywhere. Hot water shut down like every 3-4 months due to their ...old boilers. The stolen laundry has been a serious issue so that even the management addressed it via email (one time somebody lit a fire in the laundry room in the middle of night). As for laundry, management has found it best to secure the laundry rooms just like we secure all the other amenities at the community. ROACH view
February 27, 2019I highly DO NOT recommend this place. Increased rent without warning and the worst part... ROACHES! there have literally been HUNDREDS of roaches in my apartment . How do i know? Every time i throw away my roach traps, i take a look inside and there are literally about 50-60 in there. There is an infestation here and they have the audacity to charge an insane amount for rent. Vivi durante 11 mesesen este lugar, pase muy malos momentos ya que el lugar esta lleno de garrapatas de animales, pedi que fumigaran y tardaron meses en responder eso, mi baby y yo salimos con picaduras en todo el cuerpo, esta chevere para las personas que tienen animales pero es un problema grande para los que no ya que el lugar es muy sucio. Despues de ahi en las escaleras, parece un el baño de varias personas ya que huele muy mal y ...managment no hizo nada durante mas de 2 mese y no hacia nada o la verdad alguen hacia del baño ahi diariamente o las tuberias estan mal pero huele horrible. Haguante casi el año ahi (11 meses) y le comente a managment que queria salirme de ahi y me comentaron que podrian ayudarme ya que tenian gente que queria entrar y la señora de managment puzo en el papeleo que hizo un desalojo (eviction) y ahora mi se refleja en mi credito despues del acuerdo agradable que tuvimos en su oficina. La verdad lo unico que esta bonito de ahi es la oficina de recepcion, ya que estas adentro, te dan un trato muy diferente ya que entras al contrato, a mi me dijeron que me hiban ayudar y ahora ya despues de años siguo con estas cosa, una experiencia horrible con este lugar.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Criminal Attraction
January 6, 2016I've been currently living here for about a year and four months. When I first moved in to this apartment, it was really nice. Recently, they changed management. Since the transition, everything went downhill. With that said, criminal activity has increased over the last six months. There is a lot of vandalism, robberies, and Theft in the parking garages. So far, I have had three of my vehicles vandalized. Property owners do not assume responsibility for damage, vandalism, or theft on vehicles, ...who happen to belong to the tenants living here, who are paying for security, which is part of the rent, but in reality, they're not providing any services to keep our vehicles safe. They only care about your money, not your well-being or your safety. If you care about your personal belongings, I wouldn't recommend moving here. This is a serious warning to anybody. We have asked countless times for security cameras in the parking garage, and they refused to provide them. I would recommend calling the local police department when looking to move in here. Theo Lacy jail is just right around the corner, so most of the criminals that travel back-and-forth seem to linger within the general area. I am three grand in debt, since I moved here. Crystal View Apartments
August 24, 2015I believe that the Crystal View Apartments are okay. They are really nice in the inside but on the outside they aren't that nice. The two bedroom apartment that I am currently living in now are pretty spacious and I like the wood/carpet style. But I believe for this apartment, it shouldn't costs how much I am paying for now. If the apartment had better granite, nicer carpet, bigger rooms, and nicer area it would be worth the price. Also, these apartments have a bit of a cockroach problem. I find ...about 4-5 cockroaches per night which doesn't make me happy. August 13, 2015Crystal View Apartments is so well kept, that every day I come home from work I feel like I am going into a hotel suite. The units are immaculate and well kept, and the staff is beyond helpful and pleasant. The staff is beyond accommodating when it comes to requests and services, which makes it such a pleasant place to live. The amenities are world class, including a pool, gym, yoga studio, tennis courts, basketball courts, BBQ area, outdoor fireplace, theater room, recreation room, and many ...more! July 20, 2015My roommates and I used apartments.com to find our new home. We were pretty pushed for time but with this we were able to find an amazing place at a great price for us.
