Just okay
April 28, 2025Living at Independence Village has been disappointing. The so called “renovated” units are just old apartments with a cosmetic facelift — stainless steel appliances, a granite countertop, and brown cabinets sloppily painted white (the original color shows through with use). Plastic cabinet drawers break easily. Walls are extremely thin, so don’t expect any privacy, and smoke from neighboring units can drift into yours. Quiet and Refreshing apartment living
December 9, 2024I had not lived in apartment style living in such a long time and was really against it. I felt like it would be too many people to little response from management or just lost as a resident period. This is not the case with Damato. I live on the Raymond property, and I love it here. I have never lived in an apartment that is so comfortable and quiet environment. There is never any trash laying around. If I have a work request it is handled very timely. When the weather changed, I hadn't ...checked my heat and when I did one night and realized it wasn't working, I called the message center and was offered someone would be out within 2 hours. I said no on-call, I missed the opportunity to call during normal hours so send someone tomorrow. The fact that they were willing to handle immediately, and it wasn't even critical. This is my kind of assistance. My property is full of friendly vibrant Neighbours. We stay to ourselves, but we speak and watch out for each other. This is my kind of place. Make sure I am safe and give me my space. Originally, I only wanted a one-year lease but when renewal time came, I asked for an extended lease.
