Applied to this place In August, was told My application would be approved within a few days, 3 Months later we still haven’t heard a word about it after countless emails and phone calls. Save your breath and possibly look somewhere else, they don’t seem to want to actually do their job.
Great Apartments, Not Great Management

These apartments are very spacious. Amenities are great too with in unit laundry and a pool and exercise room. Management and maintenance is not great at all. Took them a week to fix my air conditioner in the middle of the summer. Only gave me 18 hours notice for window replacements (people had to come back twice for some reason) that didn’t even need to be done.

Looks like enough parking lots...
Except in the winter time they don’t want anyone to park in front of the buildings for the plows they want everyone to park in the back and there’s not enough parking for everyone people are parked all over the grass up the sidewalks it looks like a bomb hit and then they threaten you to tow your car if you don’t move it! Definitely will not do another winter here!
Worse than living in new Bedford on a street that has a parking ban!!
Afraid to go to work the next ...
day because you’ll lose your spot and have nowhere to park!

I moved into a first-floor apartment at Dartmouth Woods with my father in October of 2015. We had to wait month for a unit because demand was so strong, but it was worth the wait. Prior to living in apartment, we lived in modest split-level home. We had to move because my father, 90 and suffering from dementia, kept falling on the stairs. The manager arranged for an apartment near the the handicapped entrance, meaning my father had completely level terrain between the car and the apartment. ...
It was a great help.
The unit itself was spacious and better suited to our lifestyle than was our home. The master bedroom was large with bathroom. My father could easily go to bathroom at night without falling. The walk-in closet provided more than ample storage space for clothes and other things. My bedroom was smaller, but still quite spacious and it had a large walk-in closet as well. The bathroom across the hallway was equally large. (I was impressed with the fan there. It is the only place I have ever showered without steaming up the mirror.) The center room easily accommodated a large dining room set, a television, and five reclining chairs. The kitchen was fully applianced, cozy, and convenient with a laundry complete with washer and dryer across the way. All and all, the unit was a pleasant place to spend the day.
Dartmouth Woods is located right on Route 6, but apartments a far removed from the road, and you're never are bothered by the hubub of the highway. Just past the entrance one enters a world of tree-lined apartments and walkways winding their through the grass. It's a great place to walk or a jog.
Dartmouth Woods is close to all the services. The shopping, supermarkets and restaurants are all nearby. Two golf courses are relatively close. In essence, living there you enjoy the convenience of nearby services and the serenity of the forest.
Sadly, my father died, and events dictated that I had to move . I would be happy to recommend Dartmouth Woods to family (Two of my relatives live there.) and friends, and, should events dictate, live there again myself.

Police contact due to drug deals and bad management

My family and 2 kids 2 adults moved into dartmouth woods community around Jan 2015. The manager is lazy, cold and demeaning. The first month we were here we got a lot of sniw. Part of therapy policies is that if it snows you have to park in a designated area. However there are not enough spots to satisfy all the residents. We we not to move our car to tale my child to the doctor for an emergency and when I arrived outside my car was home without any notice even though I moved my car accordingly ...
to.wgqt they asked. They towed my car which I had to pay 180 dollars to get my car out. The tow truck cracked my wind shield during transport. There are drug deals and active crime that I had video licence plates and mutiple other residents as witness to the drug activity abd they have done nothing to correct the matter. I had security system installed and for what we pat 1400 dollars a month no utilities included... even pay for trash and water... I feel due to the dangerous nature of the illegal activity it's not worth the rent we pay. The manger Deborah ignores all matters and the dartmouth police are about as useless as a light with no plug for it to light up a room. There is dig feces everywhere... cigarette buts everywhere and there has been two fires one that burned down an entire building abd another two weeks ago which burned down bushes and mulch due to a cigarette. Do your self a huge favor... rent some where else. Don't sign a lease with this community you will be serou ly misinfored ... and you will want to run. We have found 8 hypwrdermic drug needles outside completely expised . Just stay away.
