November 30, 2022Cheap appliances, mini fridge, gross ceramic stove. Dirty buildings. Barking dogs. Not sound proof. Terrible complex manager who is rude and unfriendly. Will keep your security deposit for no reason. Are not nice to tenants.Review from Apartments.com

Best Apartment I've Ever Lived At
May 13, 2021Hands down the best apartment building that I have lived in. Not only because the apartment itself is beautiful, but also because the managers and maintenance staff have always been very responsive and accommodating. One example of this was when my kitchen faucet had a small leak, so I submitted a maintenance request and the faucet was fixed that day! Also, almost all of the residents I have met have been very friendly and welcoming. There have been many instances where it almost feels like a ...little community where you know everyone you see around the Deco grounds. May 13, 2021Deco is an awesome place to live! My fiancee, 2 dogs, and I have lived here for 3 years and just renewed our lease for a 4th year. The staff is friendly, professional, and responsive. Communication is excellent. Maintenance is the most prompt I've experienced in an apartment. We haven't had to wait more than a day for a request to be handled. Our neighbors are friendly and respectful. I couldn't recommend Deco more to anyone looking for a great living experience on Madison's west side.Review from Apartments.com
A luxury apartment!
May 7, 2021Deco Apartments is the best apartment I have found in the Madison area! They are the epitome of luxury apartments. The community spaces are always clean. The pool, gym, and grills on site are great. It really is a community feel between us as tenants (and no - it is not all 18 to 25 year olds). Management always goes above and beyond when I have an issue whether it be a maintenance request or a disturbance. It's easy to write a bad review - but I have spent years renting and have always had all ...of my issues resolved in a matter of a day once it is brought to their attention... Horrible Residents
March 26, 2021First of all let me say that the managers are very nice as well as the maintenance guy. The units are also very nice. However the residents are completely rude and inconsiderate. They are primarily 18 to 25-year-olds living in this complex. They blast music, over run the pool, and let their large obnoxious dogs attack you. Several times I have been in the main areas of the building where these residents let their dogs off the leash and they come running towards you and attack you. I even ...stepped in pee in the lobby that one of these kids refused to clean up. They will invite their drug using friends over to use the pool so you won’t ever get a chance to actually use it and enjoy it. Or they’ll invite all of their friends who have children and let them over run the pool. The guy above me blasts his music almost all day long. When he’s walking, he cannot be walking like a normal person-literally sounds like there’s an elephant in my place. He also feels the need to make phone calls at five or six in the morning where he screaming on the phone and it sounds like he’s in my bedroom. They leave the common areas dirty and expect other people to pick up after them. I went to use the community room one morning and somebody had literally trashed it and left all sorts of stuff all over that I had to clean up. If you go down to the trash room they apparently don’t understand that you need to recycle and they throw stuff and pile it up all over the place. They will even throw furniture in there because they’re too lazy to take it to Goodwill. If you are essentially looking to live in an overpriced dorm, where you can’t use the pool, around a bunch of spoiled millennial brats, then this place is for you.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
If you don’t mind noise, this place is for you!
February 23, 2020Deco apartments look very nice. Both on the outside. And on the inside of the apartment. But the sound proofing between floors is HORRIBLE!! Back in June, new tenants moved in above me and they have a somewhat abnormal schedule. They get home around 8p and that is when they start their routine. I can hear them doing pretty much everything from that time on. The biggest annoyance being just them walking back and forth in their apartment. They sound like they are literally stomping as hard as they ...can. I have talked to the people in the office and they have talked to them but say they aren’t doing anything out of the ordinary. So that must mean there is something up with the building. A little over a month ago, my neighbor stopped me in the hall and asked if I had noise issues too. I told her I did and she began to describe her noises and I described mine. They were exactly the same. So something is not right with this building.
