September 8, 2023Maintenance doesn’t help much, the carpets are kind of gross, definitely outdated, management is hard to get in contact with, parking lot is absolutely terrible, pretty sure no one cleans the halls in the buildings because I’ve passed a spot of blood on the wall for 7 months now and the hall carpets are always dirty. The smells are terrible too, the halls either smell like garbage, weed, or cigarettes there is no in between, no matter how many candles you have burning you can still smell the weed ...and cigarettes in your apartment coming through the vents. But I have specific concerns about it needing updating of carpet and appliances, and also repairs to dangerous sidewalk areas. While at Deerfield - We rarely hear tenants in other apartments, our vehicles are Safe in the parking lots, Snow/Ice preventatives are taken for the sidewalks & lot right away and Maintenance Requests get taken care of Quickly. - We enjoy having a Full-Size Stack Washer & Dryer Combo in our Apartment. Other Apartments we've lived in the past, would usually have the Economy Size Washer & Dryer Stack. The Full-Size Models get ...much more laundry done per load. May 13, 2022My experience at Deefield Apartments in the first 10 months was pleasant. Since management hasn't been on site full-time (summer of 2021) this place has really gone downhill. Trash not being picked up around the property, residents not picking up after their pets, drugs being used on the property and complaints haven't resolved that issue, dirty hallways and door/windows. My building hasn't had the carpets vacuumed (in hall and stairs) since Dec!! We have terribly broken up sidewalks, which look ...like they are going to be fixed bc they have spray paint around them but they've been that way since last year. There are non-handicapped residents leaving their trash out in their patios for 4-5 days, one of the apartments here has 3 med-large dogs in their 2 bedroom apts. Is that even OK? Like I said in the beginning, thus place was pleasant when I first moved in and quickly went down hill.
