These cheery 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom include a variety of different layouts. The outside is lined with trees and surrounded by natural greenery on all sides, yet minutes away from Uptown Charlotte, UNCC, and two major interstates (I-77 and I-85). Doral Apartments is a perky community residing in a secluded area near Uptown Charlotte that’s further punctuated by friendly and professional onsite maintenance and management with 24/7 availability. Residents especially enjoy the swimming pool, outdoor pavilion, new fitness center, and dog park. We are pet-friendly and have multiple doggy bag stations with accompanying trash bins to keep the premises clean and tidy. Bright, cheerful and inviting best describes exterior of the Doral Apartments in Charlotte, NC. Attractive shades of red, green and blue distinguish each building and make the garden style even more jubilant. Inside is a sensible cream-on-white theme with an entranceway comprised of luxury vinyl tile extending into a large carpeted living room with a ceiling fan, sliding glass doors, and trendy white brick accent wall. A carpeted hallway with vanity lighting leads to the bedroom (left), kitchen (immediate right, and bathroom (far right). The bedroom has carpeting, a ceiling fan, walk-in closets and clean white walls. Across from the bedroom and beyond a half-wall cut out is the kitchen with a refrigerator, dishwasher, full range microwave, wraparound countertops, wooden cabinets and luxury vinyl flooring. Lastly, a full bathroom contains a wide mirror, extra counter space and vanity lighting. Two shelves extend from the shower and tub enclosure; luxury tile flooring throughout. It has been great living here. May from the office is the best. She is very responsive and cares about all of the tenants and along with the maintenance team they care deeply about getting any issues resolved. The area is great and the amenities are wonderful. Would highly recommend moving here.

for the cost of living, especially in charlotte, I don’t know there’s a more affordable place that has some of the same amenities and features for similar pricing, along with the property management it’s wonderful I always believe the people make the place so I think it’s really made by the management too, always kind and tries to be helpful as much as she can!

I'm thoroughly impressed with Doral Apartments! The amenities are top-notch, and the apartments are clean and spacious. But what truly sets this complex apart is the exceptional management team, particularly May. She's always responsive, friendly, and goes above and beyond to ensure residents' needs are met. Her dedication and professionalism make living here a breeze. I feel at home and appreciate the effort she puts into creating a wonderful community. Highly recommend!

Avoid; Not Worth the Price

I have lived at Doral apartments for almost two years and I will not be renewing my lease. Any maintenance request you have will not be addressed adequately. My dishwasher broke and was flooding my kitchen and I had to wait nearly two weeks until it was addressed. The price is not worth the hassle.

Best Apartments Ever

Doral is an incredible property. I’ve been living here 3 months now and absolutely love it. Every maitenance issue is fixed very quickly, the grounds are very clean, and there’s a beautiful park right behind the property. The rent is a great price compared to other places in the area. This is the place to be.

Great location but too pricey

If you value location then move out here. But, the price isn’t worth it. These are not high end apartments/luxury apartments. There are waaaay better options around the area. Old pool. Apartments use to flood so water bugs are everywhere even in renovated apartments. The floors are uneven. Squeaky. The apartment is a nice size but once again the price isn’t worth it at all.

Doral Apartments live up to their commitment. Clean, well maintained apartments that comes with excellent services. Not far from from Central Ave., and Uptown with great restaurants and taverns for all foodies. Not far from a Park which is great for children and pets. Also close enough to enjoy the nightlife of the Uptown, but retains its family community atmosphere.They keep the pool area for family fun, and we even have a pavilion for private gatherings. the community active with events throughout the year. I love Doral Apartments because I am only four minutes from work.

If possible I would rate this a 4.5, but if I had to choose it is a 5! Doral Apartments may not have hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, or a deluxe clubhouse, but you will not find a better apartment or community for such a great price! Doral has kept all the "must-haves" of an excellent apartment community: - pet friendly living! - great staff and maintenance crew - roomy and well-kept cute apartments - included dishwasher - included individual apartment W/D - on-site pool - on-site ...
enclosed area for dogs - AFFORDABLE rent Doral has cut the unnecessary fluff that other apartment complexes use to bump rent prices: exuberant kitchen appliances, high-end hardwood floors, flashy outdoor decorations, or a barely-used clubhouse. While they have used their natural features and location to enhance the living experience at no cost to renters: - located next to a huge field, great for running, biking, and playing - through the field is a lovely neighborhood park, equipped with two playgrounds, a covered picnic area and grill, an outdoor ping-pong area, and a Frisbee golf set-up - only a walk to the Elizabeth and Plaza Midwood neighborhoods and a short drive to Uptown. The community at Doral is wonderful and we feel very lucky to have found this complex! [Been living at Doral 7/2014 - Present]

BEST PLACE EVER!

I've lived here for years, left twice just to keep coming back because the Doral is so awesome. The neighbors, management, you can have large dogs, great staff, respond quickly to maintenance issues, great location & price. It's not upscale or glamourous but it sure is a great place to live with nicely remodled apartments, well maintained grounds and each unit has a washer & dryer.

Doral Apartments is a great place to live. I've lived here for four years and feel safe day or night for someone my age. They have a great staff. And last but very important is the fact that Doral is very Dog Friendly. I love that about them.

Charlotte's Hidden Gem

Apartment searching is not exactly the most fun thing to do. I would know, my husband and I spent two full days, back in June 2013, all over the city of Charlotte trying to find an apartment. We searched and searched and just when we thought we were going to have to settle on a complex that we weren't too keen on, we found a listing for Doral Apartments. The funniest thing about Doral is that we had driven past it at least twice in our two day search, and didn't even notice it...hence "Hidden ...
Gem." The complex is set back off the main road, which is lovely, it is a quite community with super friendly neighbors. The pool, pavilion and dog park are fabulous features. There is a sweet park behind the complex, great to take a walk to as well. Even though you're only a five minute drive to Uptown, it is quiet and has lots of greenery. What drew us to the complex: PET friendly! That's a big deal, because some places look at you like you have two heads if you have two pets! We are so happy to have such features as a gorgeous brick wall, a spacious balcony (or patio for downstairs apartments), washer, dryer and dishwasher are all included and without an extra fee! There are people of all age groups here, young couples, older folks, families with children. Often you'll see a group of kids, varying in age all playing together and riding their bikes, it reminds me of being in a neighborhood, and well, it is! I try to encourage all my friends who are looking for a new place to check out Doral, and some have already joined us in the complex! It is a very inviting and affordable place to live!
