Lack of response time
July 24, 2023Have left messages several times. This place is beautiful from what I can see but is not worth the time trying to apply for because they will never call you back or email you back. Why apply for a place you will never hear back from? This not only is concerning for applicants but shows me if you move their they will not get back to you on any issues you may have. Bad management
June 4, 2019I do not recommend anyone to move in here even my worst enemies. The whole place is managed by one office manager and maintenance guy. The office manager is never there and the maintenance guy takes a while to get things done. They have recently switched to a new way for the residents to pay rent but never sent out any notice or emails. I’ve lived in the worst places in Newark and they had better management than these people. Tried calling the property owners and they never pick up the phone. BED BUGS THROUGHOUT ENTIRE BUILDING!
November 7, 2018NASTY!! Entire building infested with bed bugs from one nasty apartment who ignored they had them!! Manager was aware of the infestation and neglected to check surrounding units for over 3 months! We finally became aware when a knock on the door to inspect happened...a few apartments were lucky enough not to get them. We and 3 other apartments moved out because of this (infested unit still lives there) I'm sure this post will be on the 2nd page as the others are when it should be 1st! Property ...company can care less about what happened. Apartments were treated that had them and pretreated if they did not (yet) but an infestation as bad as the apartment it started in has, it's only a matter of time...they had them for at least SIX MONTHS!! (Estimation from the person themself!) before they got inspected. EWW! Getting in touch with anyone feels impossible when you need something, someone is rarely in the office there is no leasing agent. Be prepared to hear EVERYTHING from your neighbors from a conversation to a toilet flush. Theres literally 2 people for the entire complex to help with anything..manager who lives on site and will just yes you to death anyways, but rarely on site and 1 maintenance man who does not live on site. Grounds infrequently kept up with. Needless to say, very very very happy to no longer live in the complex or near the disgusting resident who ignored they had bed bugs and infested other people, a whole building, and management to ignore it and the property company to care less what happened. Disgusting. Look elsewhere for the same price range theres plenty.Property Manager Responded

BED BUG CENTRAL
October 9, 2018Building is crawling with bed bugs infesting other apartments due to gross tenants in one apartment. Management has known for months and refuses to follow the right protocol to rid the situation as it continues to fester. Manager/Landlord clearly doesn't care for the well-being of tenants. BED BUGS - LANDLORD FAILS TO CARE OR TAKE CARE OF
September 4, 2018Whole building infested inside the walls from neighbors. Started going into other apartments every so often through holes, vents. Enough is enough, lease is up and we are out. Too bad since the apartments are nice inside except for this and the thin walls. Landscaping is let go until the grass is shin high. Landlord is a liar. Watch It
September 2, 2016This place is a sham. You should have a walk-thru when you leave and because there is no one in the office most days there is no one available to perform it when you leave. Dover Chase Apartments
September 23, 2015Dover Chase apartments in Toms River is a complex with just over 100 apartments. The bedrooms are all a good size and some apartments have garages. My 2 bedroom 2 bath with den could easily be used as a 3 bedroom apartment. There is a nice path around the community that is great for walking the dog. We are close to restaurants, shopping, schools and the highway.Review from Apartments.com

Good Temporary Rental
July 20, 2015The Dover Chase Apartments are a nice place to rent on a temporary basis. The apartments are nice and updated and most units have garages which is hard to find in an apartment complex, but there are no amenities in the complex at all. They do offer a free gym membership to all tenants but to find the time for the gym is impossible. The staff is very friendly and the neighbors are quiet.
