I would not recommend Dovetree Apartments based on my experience. The apartments themselves were fine, but the management was very disappointing.
The advertised rent was only part of the story. The mandatory "utility package" ended up being little more than about $200 per month in internet (130), amenity fees (70), and other miscellaneous charges that significantly increased the actual cost of living there. After moving out, I provided my forwarding address well before my move out date. More than 30 days passed without receiving my security deposit or an itemized list of deductions as required under Ohio law.
Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue directly with management, my security deposit was not returned as of August (I moved out in May), and the matter remained unresolved. Their lack of communication and failure to address the issue caused months of unnecessary frustration and forced me to consider legal action to recover my deposit.
