AVOID
January 31, 2025We just moved out of our apartment and expected to receive the deposit back after we patched the holes,repainted and cleaned the apartment before leaving it. But suprise they are charging us FOR CLEANING AND REPAINTING. So the charge now goes higher than the deposit was and even saying we owe them more money. We asked twice for move out inspection and nobody came, when we went to return the keys asked again and they replied you are all set no need for that. Building office works once in a blue ...moon and are incredibly slow with any requests. There are multiple bug infestations and most of the time something is broken and not fixed for weeks (elevators/front doors/garage doors). Pipe bursts and flooded apartments are a normal thing. Avoid this building and don’t ignore the reviews telling you what kind of people you would be dealing with.Property Manager Responded

Never rent here
January 31, 2025AVOID THIS BUILDING AT ANY COST! I didn’t write a review previously just because Tierra is nice. But after what happened today, enough is enough. We have requested move out inspection on the day of the move out and during the last 2weeks of our stay there. I reminded them about the inspection several times, but nobody ever showed up. When they gave us the final move out list (that I still have) they said that we need to do cleaning of the apartment, which we did. Detailed!!! Now they want to ...charge us $160 for the cleaning, of the apartment that was perfectly cleaned. On top of that, when we asked while moving in can we hang photos on the wall, they said yes. On the move out list, it was noted $3 per hole. No problem. We patched tiny holes that we made for our picture frames. On top of that, we asked maintance which color do they use for the apartment, and we went and purchased exactly the same color and painted over the patched holes. Now they want to charge us $350 for painting of the whole apartment?!?! DO NOT EXPECT YOUR DEPOSIT BACK!!! Building is filthy, trash chutes alway clogged and smelly, pool is almos never clean, elevator didnt work for 2 weeks when we were supposed to move out, animals are releving themselves inside of the building and I have never ever seen somebody cleaning those carpets. Oh yes, they say they have laundry rooms, machines always broken and filthy! I have collected pretty nice collection of the pictures as proof. October 19, 2022While the building is placed in a center part of Hollywood, and the units are a good size- management lacks ability to keep the building clean. No longer has a cleaner come by multiple times a week, it’s now once if we’re lucky.
