Sink leaks. Centipede on the ceiling. The outside never gets clean
November 11, 2021Wood under my sink is all warped. Keep callin, they wont fix the sink. Looks like its been going on for a while. The outside is disgusting. The same 4 month old chewing gum and dead mantis are on the stairs because cleaning outside is never done. Its bad. Dont be a fool like me, stay away from this oneProperty Manager Responded

Quite a few problems, but if you desperately need a place. Make it a last resort.
November 4, 2021I lived here for a year it was okay. Kids run around and play in the parking lot and will obnoxiously scream and yell and like to touch cars sitting in the parking lot. Maybe yours. Bugs will get into the apartment sometimes. Many electrical outlets within DO NOT work.Property Manager Responded

Worst Neighbors
December 31, 2020The layout of our 3-bed, 2-bath apartment is great, but our neighbors are the worst. I don’t mind the noise (except for the Summer when multiple families in our building and next one over are out in the parking lot and stops until 2am). Maintenance has been responsive to every request we’ve had. BUT at least one of our neighbors smokes A LOT of marijuana. Our apartment is filled with that horrible smell 24/7. We can hardly be in our living room, and it’s so bad that we leave the apartment for ...several hours almost everyday. We drove to Washington DC yesterday just because we couldn’t stand it here. I wish we could enjoy our apartment, but it’s unlivable because of our neighbors. Management sent out a note 5-6 months ago to each unit in our building but nothing has ever been done to actually stop it. Unless you enjoy the stench of marijuana, don’t move here.Property Manager Responded

This Place is a Joke
July 9, 2020They over charge for everything and almost nobody gets their security deposit back l lived there for 3 years with two kids my fiance a roommate they made us replace 7 sets of blinds because they could see they were broken from outside which is stupid why not wait until we leave and charge us then also we left because we bought a house when my loan officer called to get a verification of rent after we had already moved out the office witch Rachel decided it would be ok for her to disclose how much ...we owed the complex for various damages 10/10 would not recommend. oh and maintenance suuuuuuuuucks our sink came off of our vanity and in the 3 years we lived there the air filters for the AC were changed once by us maintenance never came and did it.Property Manager Responded

October 24, 2019Eagle Harbor is a great place to live for the most part. I lived there for 2 1/2 years and never had any problems with the apartment I lived in; our family just outgrew the space. The pool is open year round, they have a small fitness center, and it is close to the grocery store and several restaurants. The maintenance guys are awesome and quickly respond to requests for service. When I first moved to Eagle Harbor, Casey worked in the office and she was wonderful. She was one of the deciding ...factors in my decision to call these apartments home. After moving in though, she was transferred to another location and this is when the trouble with the office staff began. While Jaleesa in the office is great, the rest of the people don't really seem to know what is going on. On several occasions I asked questions and got different answers to the same questions depending on who I spoke to. While I had relatively few problems while actually living here, the move out process was a nightmare. I was given different move out dates, charged to replace perfectly good carpet, and charged for moving out a day early. I would recommend this apartment complex to others, but caution them to beware when moving out. This place puts ridiculous charges in place, even when you do everything in your power to avoid them.Property Manager Responded

Stolen Cars
September 4, 2019Maybe these apartments need more security or something. A friend of mines’ car was jimmied and broken into a few nights ago and the next morning her other car was stolen. If anyone knows anything please tell the staff. This place has really gone down hill, and when she tried to ask if there was anything they could put out to see if anyone has any info or saw anything, the lady said they can’t because it’s not a danger. Ummm I’m pretty sure having thief’s bold enough to steal cars in broad ...daylight is a danger. Also, there’s nothing LUXURY about this situation.Property Manager Responded

Not luxury living
May 14, 2019It is not luxury living. Everything is the cheapest possible stuff. Our dish washer wouldn’t ever wash dishes, and maintenance told me dishwashers are not made to wash dishes, just sanitize. We had a problem with constant mold on our windows, and we were told that it is the Virginia climate. Really it’s the cheap windows. There were puddles on the window seal almost every morning. We had mold on 2 pieces of furniture when we moved out. It was always humid in the apartment. Our water bills ...ranged from $175-$250 A MONTH. No one could ever give me an answer as to why it was so high. The complex manages the water bill, so they can charge you whatever they want. I spoke with the water company, and they thought our bills were WAY too high. Maintenance is a joke. We had water pour through the light above our shower 3 times before they actually did something about it. They got onto us for not contacting them earlier (which we did all 3 times). The office staff forgets to put in work orders and misplaced my move out paper work. When we moved in, they forgot to clean our apartment, so it was filthy! They did give us some money back for that. Make sure you mark every problem on your move in sheet. Our carpet had spots on it, but we were charged for them when we moved out. The “free” internet doesn’t work very well. The pros are that it is a nice area, and we felt safe.Property Manager Responded

They Take Advantage of Military
November 5, 2017I had a pleasant experience while I lived there but when I tried to leave the company took advantage of me and the military clause. I had to PCS and instead of prorating a month or working with me they charged me for an extra month. I moved out the 18th of the month I told them I would be out then they charged me another month on top of that. After that they came back and said I owed them 300 dollars in "fees." Military beware; they will take advantage of you and try and get as much money as ...they can out of you.Property Manager Responded

ITS NOT WORTH IT
October 25, 2017During the past year my car has been broken into 3 times, for the price they charge they should have some type of cameras or security after hours, police called, report filed but they act like they didn't know when told about the incident. The walls are paper thin, you hear dogs barking and don't mention when someone comes up the stairs, oh my God, it sounds like the building is falling apart. They make it seems more luxurious then it really is, you just paying for convenience if you work ...across the bridge that's it, nothing special about Eagle Harbor Apartments. Management sucks, you call to talk with her, she uses a mediator for her rudeness, leave a message don't get a call back. Farewell never again.Property Manager Responded

No security deposit.................not really
March 4, 2016So we moved into this decent apartment with no required deposit. However when we moved out we were charged for items we never received and they refused to change the bill. We were charged for a garage door opener that we never received, $10 for a stupid key chain pool pass, $75.00 for a key fab because we left it in the apartment instead of returning it to the office. $200 for a cable cord. Be careful if you have pets they look for reasons to rack up your bill.
