Terrible place to live

Do not move here
November 28, 2019Do not move here , I moved here when I was 7 and the place is still terrible. It is not kid friendly. They took the basketball court and pool away from us and only the kings village residents can swim there. My father has been asking for a rug change , new paint on the walls and new tiles on the floor in the bathroom and we still haven’t had any of these changes done. There is mold all over the bathroom and we have told them multiple times to come and fix these conditions and this is sickReview from Apartments.com

September 20, 2019Only giving this complex a 5/10 because of it’s pricing. If anything goes wrong expect it to be done half way, the priority of the staff is to make things as difficult as possible and to fix things with tape and rubber bands basically. I personally lived at this apartment complex for 5 years I’ve spotted little mouse around the property, the rain leaks through the walls and created mold which they Took 6MONTHS to fix with paint!!!!! Obviously it wasn’t fixed. I also had an issue with fungus ...growing under the carpet from all the water and the complex thought it wasn’t Important enough to fix right away. I wish I could give it a negative number
December 14, 2018This place is disgusting. Please dont waste your money. The air conditioner that you pay 30 dollars extra for doesn't run and if you call a maintenance guy to come fix it all he does is hit it with a wrench until it runs and then you have to call again the next day. There is mold in the bathroom from no ventilation. Paint is chipping off and falling on the carpet. Walls are so thin that I can hear the tenants under us SNORING. Its freezing in the winter because they dont turn on the heat until ...they feel like it, which the knob to adjust the temperature doesn't work so good luck turning it off. Maintenance men just show up randomly in your apartment and on your balcony without prior notice. (That was a terrible surprise when I was in my nightgown) the worst part is when you break your lease you need to pay the remaining months upfront. Oh and the snow? Yeah, they dont plow, they just put road blocks up so you need to go through Henson village to get to route 46. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!! It is disgusting.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

A renter's Nightmare!
January 23, 2016Please do yourself a favor and don't even consider living here. The worst place that I have ever lived in. The office staff is incompetent to keep it positive , they never have a clue about anything and they make it more than clear that they don't care about any issue that you are experiencing ! In the winter time it snows don't expect your parking lot or even the Main road to be cleaned at all because they will not and when you call they lie and tell u that they are out meanwhile u don't even ...hear them never mind see them! They supposedly have maintence workers I don't know what for I only see them walking around! They have walked into my apt on 3 occasions unannounced and with no reason but shocked when they noticed I was home luckily I didn't call the police because it felt like they broke in didn't even knock ! Another very common thing around here are bed bugs apartments are infested and when I told them I had to physically bring in the evidence! In addition apartments are old u can hear your neighbors clearly in my case almost all night the talking , the stomping, sneezing , and any other thing happening should I say more? The best part of living here is that you have the police in here almost every day because of a fight between the neighbors or some other activity , never a moment where it is just enjoyable. September 29, 2015Renters Beware! Coming up on 2 years in Eagle Rock, apartment is full of issues previously listed. Broken screen doors, terrible air conditioning, horrible maintenance and even worse office staff. As soon as my lease is up in february we are out, being lied to by the office staff over a dishwasher repair was the last straw... Dishwasher broke, called the office, they sent out a maintenance man to verify it was broken; inform us they will order a new one and give us a 2 week time frame, the "new" ...dishwasher came in they came up to our apartment, removed broken dishwasher #1 and replaced it with broken dishwasher #2, replaced broken dishwasher #2 with broken dishwasher #3 now we have a dishwasher #4 that works but is INCREDIBLY loud and still isnt new.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
