Ongoing AC Problems and Poor Maintenance Response

I would not recommend this apartment complex based on my experience so far. Since moving in, we have had ongoing maintenance and condition issues that should have been addressed before the unit was rented.
The biggest problem has been the air conditioning. Our apartment has not been cooling properly, and we have repeatedly been told that a part was ordered or was supposed to arrive. First it was supposed to be here the week before, then another day, then yesterday, and we are still waiting with ...
no actual repair. At this point, being told that “the part is coming” is not a real update when the date keeps changing.
The apartment itself also did not feel move-in ready. There was still silverware from the previous resident in one of the drawers, several closet doors were broken, one room did not have blinds, another set of blinds was not secure, the bathtub was already chipped, and the kitchen sink had visible damage/burn marks. These are things that should have been inspected and corrected before a new family moved in.
Our electric bill has also been extremely high while we have been dealing with the cooling issue. I have also noticed several other units around the property using window or portable AC units, which honestly made me even more concerned about how these problems are being handled.
I understand that maintenance issues can happen anywhere. My problem is the lack of timely repairs, the constantly changing explanations, and having to repeatedly follow up just to find out what is going on. Residents should not have to keep chasing management for basic repairs, especially something as important as working air conditioning during the summer.
I will update this review if the situation is actually resolved, but based on our experience so far, I would strongly recommend touring the exact unit you will be renting and checking everything carefully before signing or moving in.

We’re very sorry for the frustration you’ve experienced, especially with the ongoing A/C issue. Our team does work to repair systems whenever possible before replacement, which can sometimes require multiple visits or ordered parts. In the meantime, we can provide window or portable A/C units while repairs are being completed.
We’re also concerned to hear about the condition of the apartment at move-in, as this is not the experience we want for our residents. Please contact the office directly so we can review these concerns and make sure any remaining issues are addressed as quickly as possible.
