The location is hard to beat—just minutes from the Museum District, Med Center, Montrose, and right in the heart of Houston’s downtown scene. But what really sets it apart is the office team. They’re genuinely friendly, always helpful, and offer the kind of customer service you don’t see often. May 1, 2025The location is prime. Apartment is spacious. Amenities are nice. Gym is good, though people misuse the Pelotons. The grills in the courtyard are great, but upstairs they're terrible. Lots of maintenance requests but they're usually fixed quickly and the maintenance team is great. Some neighbors aren't respectful of common areas. Foul smelling trash is left in the hallway or on the trash room floor instead of in the chute. Someone even dropped their dog waste right into the chute with no bag and ...it got stuck right at the top. Neighbors leave their balcony door open without securing it, so the door slams into the balcony railing reverberating through the entire floor. Water pressure in the showers is terrible and takes forever to get hot. Washing machine smells perpetually like mildew, despite multiple cleaning attempts. The amount of storage space is unbeatable and I love the gas stove, but the fire alarms are sensitive. Hopeful for the upcoming improvements to the property.Property Manager Responded

April 2, 2025Eighteen25 is by far the best place I’ve lived in Houston, and I’ve lived a lot of places. Mainly what has kept me here for going on 3 years now is the leasing staff. Sharifa and Karl demonstrate daily that they really care about the resident experience and have always been incredibly helpful, even with the little things like locating a package! Also, the maintenance team quickly responds to requests I’ve made and are very knowledgeable and professional. The cleanliness of the building is ...something I’ve never seen and the spacious units are very nice and do not seem lived in. On top of that, I don’t know what kind of insulation they used but I cannot hear my neighbors ever! Major plus. One more thing I’ll add is that I appreciate the resident events they have almost every month - it’s incredibly thoughtful and a fun way to meet your neighbors. March 31, 2025The apartment complex is great for the most part - I really only have two complaints. The freight elevator got trashed pretty quickly after being re-done last year, as a majority of the flooring in there is already coming up, and the rooftop pool is not tended to. It can look relatively dirty at times, and there is not even a net out there for us to use to clean the floating debris out of the pool if we wanted to. These are simple issues, but for what I pay to live in the building I would prefer ...that they be addressed. Aside from those two concerns, I do enjoy living here at Eighteen25 and I think it is a great place to live in downtown Houston!Property Manager Responded

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the flooring in the freight elevator and the condition of the pool area. The elevator flooring has been ordered, and we are awaiting the third-party company's replacement of all three elevators. Your suggestion about having a net available for cleaning debris is a great idea, and we’ll work on ensuring that the pool area is regularly maintained and better equipped for residents to enjoy.
