Great place to live

10/10 Do Not Recommend
December 8, 2020Any time there are issues it takes maintenance a week to even come out and look at the issue. There is dog poop all over the grass areas around the apartment, especially building 3. They also bill you several times after you’ve moved out.Property Manager Responded

Not great, not terrible.
April 27, 2019I moved to The El Mirador at Elm Park in September 2018 because I needed a quick place to live after I found out I was getting laid off, and this was the first place I found in a nice part of Lubbock where my new job was. It has not been an awful place to live; other than my upstairs neighbors blaring music at all hours of the night while I'm trying to sleep, thats apartment living though. It's close to lots of amenities including dining, shopping, and two movie theaters. There is always a but in ...every story though, and here's mine. While the staff are friendly and responsive to any all inquiries I have had several problems with my apartment since moving in. Currently, the blower for my dryer is not working and I have no idea when it will be fixed, so I'm going to the laundromat on my next days off. Right after I moved into the property a huge rain storm came into Lubbock and my bedroom flooded due to leaks around my bedroom window. I reported the problem and they came out and sealed the window. Well, it rained again and my bedroom flooded again. I reported the problem again and the maintenance guy came out and resealed the window again. Guess what? It rained again and my bedroom flooded AGAIN!! After the third time of my bedroom flooding I discovered that the window frame was cracked and that was allowing water to get into my bedroom when it would rain. I have had other issues with the faucets smelling like natural gas when I would run water and my dryer being broken is not the first time either. I have had several issues with the dryer in my apartment since moving in. As I mentioned previously the staff is super helpful but the annoyances have been feeling like they are not worth the price of admission making me not enjoy living in Lubbock even more...Property Manager Responded
