Since Greystar took over, I have ZERO positive feedback. They lost my check for my Aug. rent pymt., have yet to resolve the issue of my not receiving community-wide emails & have had to reach out multiple times for each maintenance request. I don't think you want to publish my comments.

I am pleased with the recent upgrades to the property in general. (Painting the iron fences and washing the hallways. ). The elevator in Phase 2 is a continual problem - always waiting for a new part. That is an old story. The dog parks need some attention : new waste containers and Phase 2 benches. I hope our landscaping gets some attention. It’s really spotty.

Overall it has been great. The only thing that I would say as an observation was when Elate took over it was quick and a surprise. When a community meeting was held shortly after many questions that were raised could not be answered because the team had not familiarized themselves with the community so maybe they should not have met with us at that time because many of us left feeling it was a waste of our time. My parents lived here eight years ago. I loved the complex so much then that I moved in once I was old enough. I am impressed with how nice the complex is maintained. No garbage laying around, quick to respond to a non-emergency maintenance request, wonderful planned activities, and just love my apartment. Staff is awesome at ensuring rules are followed for the comfort of all residents. I just love living here.

I would suggest that you NOT spread the word, since my experiences with the new management team have ALL been negative. We had to pay our Aug. rent via check or money order. Somehow, the office/management team lost/misdirected my payment. This was apparent when I received a delinquent rent notice. I had a copy of the check as a 'receipt' which I asked Mirais for. He made a few notes on my copy. I took that copy down to the office. They were supposed to track down the payment. After what I ...
suspect was a minimal effort, I was asked to provide a copy of the front & back of the check. I don't do online banking, but I called my bank & was given the account # on the back of the check. I was told that that was Elate's account #, but they still needed a copy of the front & back of the check. I called my bank again & was told that I may or may not be able to get that from a branch office. So against my will, I enrolled in online banking, printed a copy of the front & back of the check & took it to the office. VOILA!! Rent pymt. acknowledged. Also, I am not receiving community-wide emails. I can only see the announcements in my portal inbox. I have gone to the office multiple times. When I asked Elena to contact her IT people, she said there was nothing more that could be done since Elate has my correct email address. I then specifically went to the office to speak to Luis, who I understand is the property manager. He go on the phone with IT. Apparently, there are 2 different ways to send out these emails & the IT person suggested that the more detailed system be used. After not receiving the next community-wide email, I sent an email to the office & advised the message was for Luis & asked him to contact their IT people again. I had no response. After another message went out, which I found in the portal again, I forwarded my 1st email to the office & again indicated the message was for Luis. To date, I have sent 4 emails to the office & have not had a single response.
