I’m on a first name basis with most of the staff—Jeff, Jackie, and Winona are excellent in the leasing office. They’re flexible, helpful, understanding, empathetic, and responsive. Sometimes I just stop in to enjoy a coffee or hot chocolate and chat or even steal some candy from their desks. Eduardo and Jose help with maintenance and I wave at them almost everyday. They’ve helped with small tasks like spiderwebs in the garage or even water filters for the fridge but they’re super responsive, ...
proactive, and friendly. Although inspections can be inconvenient they make you feel safe and comfortable and they replace items such as kitchen lightbulbs and check smoke detectors frequently to make sure you don’t have to put in many requests.
I also love the apartment itself—The only recommendation I have is to add an elevator. I have a walk in closet, attached garage, bathtub (if you’re a bath girly), spacious kitchen and living, a decent gym for lifting, a yoga studio, pool, hot tub year round, and walking distance to coffee, grocery, and public transportation. Soon to have maybe a Target (although I’m hoping it’s a Trader Joe’s), more fast food, and Pilates nearby. It is probably one of the closest commutes by transit if you’re an airline employee. I have friendly neighbors and there are quiet hours if you have crazy hours. They also give employer preferred pricing, have seasonal discounts (especially in the winter months), and even housing tax credit options I believe.
