September 27, 2022 - Review from Apartments.comUNINHABITABLE!!! My roommate and I moved into a unit that was supposedly newly renovated, but that we had not seen yet. Firstly, it was absolutely filthy, as in layers of grime on the floor and mirrors. It was 80° inside, and when we complained, we were informed that "it was just an old unit and wouldn't get below 77°" Furthermore, it was INFESTED with roaches. We saw hundreds. They were even painted over on cabinets, in the bathtub, on the countertops (yes the countertops were covered with ...peeling paint). All of the shelving was horribly warped, the front windows and back door would not lock, and several doors were too warped to close. Not a single piece of crown molding was sealed. We could not stay even a single night. But even after all of this, the complex charged us prorated rent and refused to refund our deposit. The management staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and was always quick to respond to any questions I had. The maintenance team is great at responding to the very few issues I had, and were always friendly faces to see around the property! I am honestly sad that I had to move out due to a new job across the metroplex, because this place was a genuinely great spot to call home. I loved the proximity to the local parks and ...the nearby walking trail, which was always beautiful and nice to go walking on. Additionally, you know it is a safe spot to live when everyone's kids hang out together outside! Never any issues with parking, and the only minor downside I could think of is that the valet trash pickup is not 100% on the days they say, but it never really bothered me much.Read MoreProperty Manager Responded

February 24, 2021 - Review from Apartments.comI have lived at Emerald Park Apts for over 13 years and this Team of Management and Maintenance Guys are the best by far. The last 2 years have been great and they are always willing to help right away! Carri, Rachel, Douglas and Earnest make living here more enjoyable. I never worry about having to wait days or weeks for something to get fixed. This snow storm proved how awesome Douglas and Earnest are...They worked day after day for hours trying to fix all the issues that were caused by the ...crazy freezing weather and never once complained or made me feel like I was bothering them. They are amazing! Carri and Rachel in the office always welcome you with a smile and always go out of their way to make everyone happy and cared for. I appreciate all they do. They have provided numerous resources to assist in rental issues since the loss of my employment due to COVID-19, have been accommodating, patient and excellent communicators throughout. June 4, 2020 - Review from Apartments.comWe have lived at these apartments since October of 2018. It was good at first, but its mainly the people who live here that make it terrible. I've encountered a few times that I got into it with people here because they're so loud and very inconsiderate of their neighbors. There are so many people who come and go and they all smoke weed that you can smell it through the vents, and it spreads throughout your apt. The office will contact the people who are doing it, but they do not evict them ...unless the cops have been called on with 3 strikes. There are so many kids that run freely in the parking lot and grass fields that do not respect others property like cars. Our building particularly has alot of of drug trafficking. Usually at night when office is closed. But other than that the office manager Carrie is very wonderful. She has always made my issues a priority, and the maintenance man, Douglas was very kind, and took his time to fix our AC after hours. Its went out several times because the unit is so old. Unhappy even after the second year here
November 26, 2019 - Review from Apartments.comI have lived here for over a year. Just signed on with my second year back in August. We have been infested with yellow jackets and wasps. Have called and complained. Gone in person so many different times for pest control. The office tells me I am the one that needs to be buying wasp spray. It’s not my job. Neighbors leave bags of trash out even with the new Valet trash service they have going. Attending TCC. The location is the only good thing going for me at this point. Anytime I had a question, I would email them because my job schedule didn't allow me to call, and they responded quickly and always explained anything I needed to know. The apartments were so clean and quiet. There is a Beautiful pool and playground as well. I had just moved to Texas from Louisiana, and they helped me get everything done swiftly with NO COMPLICATIONS. You ...don't have to leave and worry whether you would be approved. You know everything upon leaving the office. I love everything about this apartment, the communication, the neatness, and most of all THE LOVE. If you want the best. Management has changed through-out this time, however, with each change, there has been positives going on. We had our roofs replaced and the parking lot was just done. It is so nice driving home on smooth pavement. The girls in the office both are super friendly and welcoming. The maintenance guys are always so helpful. The apartments landscape had piles of ant hills everywhere. Maintenance will take a week to a month to fix ac. Terrible place to live, especially during the summer because they won’t fix the ac until weeks later.

The rooms are big enough for queen size beds and in the master theres a walk in closet with tons of space. My absolute favorite thing about this apartment would have to be the location. Its not that far from North East Mall for shopping and you are surrounded by great variety of food. Its also quiet here haven't seen or heard of any crimes since i've been here and there's ...usually a cop car at night doing surveillance.
