Admin fee
May 11, 2022On February 5th I applied for an apartment with the knowledge I could cancel within 72 hours to receive my admin fee refunded. I cancelled on February 7th and still waiting for that refund check. If administrators are this poor at responding to a potential resident, I can only imagine how poor everything else would be?Property Manager Responded

DON'T DO IT
April 17, 2022If there was a zero star option I'd pick it. Don't let the beautiful lobby, club house, theater and pool area fool you. You pay a very high rent for these premium features that never work. I was there for a year. The hot tub never worked, the heated pool never worked, the TV's in the Cabana's never worked, the one of two grills was never replaced. the fire place area near the pool never worked. The security gates never worked and from what I get from other reviews they haven't worked in years. ...The staff constantly turns over. I wouldn't recommend this place to a dog, speaking of such people don't pick up after their dogs. The staff makes verbal promises that are not kept or they say I'm sorry the policy has changed. Once you get there about after a month it's like why am I paying for these premium features that don't work. I recommended a friend early on and never got the $500.00 referral check. When I asked they said it came in the form of a credit on your rent. Never saw it. Check out the Better Business Bureau complaints on HSL Properties. Noisy neighbors - Stay away!
February 25, 2022I have been renting at this complex for almost 4 years. This place has gotten progressively worse over the past year. The new neighbor below me plays loud music almost everyday, sometimes well past midnight. Although I have made 7 complaints to the property managers and filed a police report, they refuse to take any action against the troublesome tenant. HSL does not enforce their own noise policy!Property Manager Responded

Great location to live...
January 4, 2022Absolutely great location to live in. Quiet residential experience. Large corporation manages this property, so you need to understand this is the experience you will have. On-line maintenance requests are filled within a day, per my experience. Front desk staff are available and helpful. Recommend you request an inspection of your rental before signing the lease. I did and they were most accommodating in that regard. All in all, the best apartment experience I have ever had and would ...recommend to anyone looking for a quality lease situation.Property Manager Responded

My car and my 2 bikes were stolen on different dates
December 31, 2020I lived here for almost a year now. My car got stolen when it was parked right infront of the office on a Friday evening and was found rimmed at a smoke shop later that night by police. I had 2 bikes chained to bike racks downstairs with steel chains. They were stolen last week. Not a safe place to live in. The staff are very inattentive and rude. I would not recommend living here at all!Property Manager Responded

Switch and bait

Bad Management
March 11, 2020If you guys are looking for aparment complex stay away from this place If y’all can share this it would be a big help. Thanks Encantda Steam Pump, ever since I moved here you guys are nothing but a joke! First off, putting us in an apartment that wasn’t even ours and the a/c not working for 3 weeks. And now the painters you hired damaged the paint on my car. And when you look for the company’s info they’re not even insured. Terrible Complex
July 20, 2018I finally am writing a review because this complex is now trying to charge me an extra bill ontop of my rent for the utilities to power/heat the common areas (lighting, pool, etc). Do not waste your time with this or any of the Encantada apartments. I moved in more than 2 years ago and just about everything has been a fight or dealing with an unfriendly management team. We've seen the staff turnover consistently, management staff have an affair with a married resident, aggressive dogs, poor ...grounds maintenance......I don't know how they get away with using ther term "luxury" as its anything but. I can't wait to leave and will advise you to not be fooled by their marketing pictures (which were taken of people that were not residents and they barred the residents from using the amenities while they took the pictures). I would rate this place ZERO stars if I could...Property Manager Responded
