You Get What You Pay For Here
August 10, 2020I lived here for ~18 months and wrote some notes on my experience. I’ll try to be brief. TLDR: It’s livable. You get what you pay for. Not the nicest place but decent for a low price. The back gate was closed for a full year with zero construction progress. The front gate opens into a busy traffic light, which can create congestion and problems getting out. This is amplified during rush hour times. The laundromat adds up. $1.50 wash and $1.25 dryer. People leave the door propped open and non ...residents frequently use it for cleaning massive loads of dirty work clothes. Check the machines before throwing your clothes in. They can be dirty. Usually don’t have problems finding machines unless you go during peak hours. Maintenance is quick and efficient. All of my requests were solved within a day except for an AC request which took a bit longer due to needing a new part. Management was very nice, helpful and did a good job. Never had a bad interaction with them. 29$ “convenience” fee to pay rent online (and to use the automated pay). For this reason I had to drop off a check every month. No major pest issues. For the most part neighbors were quiet and kept to themselves. I did have one obnoxious neighbor who drank on the front bench and creeped out my girlfriend, but he moved out. Cable package is mandatory but you can ask for a $10 discount to make it more affordable No access to the router or modem so you have to call spectrum to do any resets or support. Had to connect most of my devices by MAC address from the wifi portal or they wouldn't work Gym is tiny but usable. Most of the time i was the only one there. Seems busier lately though. Don't hear anything through the walls, but can hear neighbor doors opening and closing. Window AC unit is loudProperty Manager Responded

November 9, 2016Do not rent here, seriously, no matter how affordable it might seem or what the staff might say. Do not rent here. Not afraid of the area? Do worry monthly reminders about a neighborhood watch meeting will remind you. Do not rent here. Staff lies to renter's faces when other members of staff are not around and act confused and dumbfounded when called out on their lies. Do not rent here. Give into any micro feelings of doubt and do not rent here. Maintenance staff are friendly and prompt, but ...are simply terrible at their job. Sloppy and/or simply not able to find an issue without multiple visits. Do not rent here. What happens when you ask them to write down and verify something they say to you? Retraction of statements. Do not rent here. Location? At the corner of crack and stabby. Apartments near the road are SO NOSY. No really, SO NOSY. Right down the street from a fire station and being at the corner of OBT it'll pass by AT LEAST 3 times a day. SO NOSY. These are badly managed, in a truly terrible location and they will go over and above to find a way to not return your deposit. Walk through and approval for deposit return? Good apartments but...
September 23, 2015These apartments are nice but they get hot very easily and cause the electric bill to be really high. They're very spacious. Neighbors are very nice, just wish the walls weren't so thin so we didn't have to hear every little sound from other apartments in the buildingReview from Apartments.com
