Ever since I had my kid, I had to quit school to take care of her. I also had to move a lot, we had moved a total of 5 times including the temporary places in between moves: I can honestly say I have never lived in such a vibrant child atmosphere with my children. The teens and children are everywhere and if the place wasn’t safe they wouldn’t be letting there kids out and about. People are friendly and they care. The appliances that are important are new. Not safe for kids

This place used to be save for kids. Not anymore because they allow strangers outside the evergreen apartments and they sometimes bullying resident kids and just get a way with it. Planing to move out soon. I want my kids to play in a safe complex.

This place grosses me out. This is my first semester here at SIU and I was extremely naive and unaware about my other options in living before I transferred here and there are much better apartment areas to live in for same price if not much cheaper. It is far away from campus but they do have a bus. The apartment inside is very old and cheaply made, the floors are nasty I have to walk around with shoes on all the time, the bathroom mirror and sink is almost the size of my head, there is no ...

security, you can hear people above you being obnoxious and talking, and if you have 1 other roommate you have to share a bathroom with them....gross. I can't think of too many positive things regarding evergreen terrace. Thank god I only signed up for a 5 month lease for 1 semester only. I will not be staying here at all. Look elsewhere there are much better options.

I absolutely loved everything about the apartment! The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars is because it was a little bit out of the way away from the campus so if you don't have a car it can be a little inconvenient getting on and off campus but they do have a bus. The management also required that only your husband or fiancé live with you and (at the time) my boyfriend was staying there even though he wasn't supposed to.
