TERRIBLE, UNRESPONSIVE, UNRELIABLE MAINTENANCE. Do NOT move here. We lived at Five Oaks Apartments for 6 months and had some of the worst maintenance issues imaginable. We put in maintenance requests back in November that STILL have not been resolved.
The biggest issue was our front door lock. We repeatedly told management and maintenance that the lock was extremely hard to turn and clearly needed servicing. Instead of fixing it, they ignored the problem until it became dangerous. One day, the ...
lock completely stopped turning FROM THE INSIDE and we were literally trapped inside our apartment. Maintenance had to DRILL DOWN THE DOOR just to get us out. That is an extreme fire hazard and completely unacceptable.
On top of that, there are roaches everywhere. No matter how clean you keep the apartment, the pest problem is terrible.
The lack of urgency, poor maintenance, and unsafe living conditions make this place not worth the money at all. Save yourself the stress and look somewhere else.
