Unprofessional property manager

I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service and professionalism I have experienced from the property manager. This was my second interaction out of three with him, and unfortunately, two of those three interactions have been negative.

and demeanor can come across as dismissive, and he appears to become overwhelmed and frustrated quickly, which unfortunately seems to be taken out on the residents he is interacting with.
What concerns me even more is that I have attempted to provide constructive feedback directly to him regarding my experience and his customer service toward me as a resident. Instead of receiving the feedback professionally and using it as an opportunity for improvement, he became upset and defensive. Constructive criticism should be an opportunity to understand how our actions are being perceived and how we can improve the resident experience.
I have explained to him that I am a bank manager and deal with customers, difficult situations, and problems throughout the day. I understand firsthand that customer service can be challenging, especially when dealing with frustrated customers or difficult circumstances. However, regardless of how overwhelmed or frustrated I may feel, I would never allow that frustration to dictate how I speak to or treat my customers. I expect the same level of professionalism when I am the customer or resident.
A property manager is in a customer-facing leadership position and should be able to communicate with residents respectfully, patiently, and professionally—even when conversations are difficult. Residents should not feel uncomfortable bringing legitimate concerns forward because they are worried about how management will respond.
I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously. I believe additional customer service training, communication coaching, and support could greatly improve the resident experience. I want to enjoy living in this community and have a positive relationship with management, but that requires mutual respect, professionalism, empathy, and effective communication.

We have received both of your reviews. Last Friday a severe storm hit our property and the caused the fire alarm to malfunction in Building 5. We could not fix this internally and we had to get a third party to come onsite and repair. Obviously, a fire alarm going off continuously for two hours is an incredibly distracting and annoying scenario for our residents as well as difficult on our staff. We regret that you did not have a positive interaction with our manager at that time. Your feedback is appreciated and we will review it with upper management. We hope the remainder of your stay at Forayna Vintage Park is less eventful.
