July 16, 2021 - Review from Apartments.comWe are tenants in this apartment since 2014. Although the apartment complex structure is old, we love it and decided to stay. We do our best to maintain cleanliness to keep the unit in good condition. If there is something needed to be fixed, the staff is always available to help. Of all the years that we've been in this apartment unit, we can really commend the current maintenance staff- most especially CHRIS. He is very reliable and efficient. He does not only fix the problem but also ...explain to us what the problem is and how to avoid getting the same problem. We are always satisfied with his job result. We are happy tenants! ZERO STARS/ management does not care
December 19, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comMy wife and I were looking to move to Forest Ridge. We submitted our application fee, spoke with someone on the phone minutes after, then zero contact for a week. After numerous emails and phone calls with no response for a WEEK, we decided we did not want to deal with this poor management for the next year. December 19, 2018We're sorry you are disappointed, however, we did call and email once your application was approved as we were excited to share the news. We also reached out to find out when you would pay the deposit but you were unavailable as you were just coming home from being out of town. As of today 12/19, we spoke finding out that you decided to go with our sister property because of specific features you were looking for. APARTMENTS FALLING APART W/HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT
November 6, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comI've lived here almost 5 years and I wish I had the words to describe how horrible it has been. The first unit I had, had a raggedy air conditioner that would pour water down the walls and onto my floor. I had to leave a garbage can underneath it to catch all of the water while I'm away at work. It went on for months and NONE of their inexperienced maintenance crew could fix it. They called a contractor and he couldn't fix it because he stated that the apartments were poorly built. Lets just say ...I had to move into a new unit in order for them to fix it. I am now on a bottom unit where when it rains, it floods water onto the carpet in my bedroom due to busted pipes outside. Management has done NOTHING to fix it. I have bags of sands just sitting around my balcony. I have even tried to call corporate and no one will return my phone calls. They have a referral program where you're supposed to get $200 for each person. I referred a friend in Sept and now I have to jump through hoops just to get my $200. They have been treating me as if I'm trying to scam them. I bet if I didn't pay my rent on time, they would go out of their way to get their money so why can't I have the same respect? Management is lazy and inexperienced. They literally tell you anything to get you off of the phone. They have mediocre maintenance who only do temporary fixes. Management rarely show up to work, and when they do, it's when they feel like it. They purposely never answer the phones (I've called from 2 different numbers. They ignored the one they recognized and answered the 2nd one). We get new management once every 6 months because the Summit property management is very CHEAP!. I will be giving a 6 month notice to them because I will not renew my lease. I don't care if I have to stay in a hotel. If I could give 0 stars I would.Read MoreProperty Manager Responded

June 9, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comI wish I could attach pictures of... - the black mold (twice) - the sagging ceiling that dumped water in our kitchen - the video of our main AC vent pouring consistent streams of water on our floor - the phone log of calling multiple times and leaving my number/name because my apartment’s AC has been out and it’s 94 degrees in here now with no response to my request for a fan -the picture of how disheveled an Internet company called in by the management left our room so they could run a wire. ...They also cut a hole in our wall and didn’t do anything with it so they painted over it (with white paint. Our walls are beige. It is not a small spot and in the center of our living room) And you’ll just have to take my word on the fact that the showers either A) don’t have hot water B) don’t have cold water so it’s boiling hot or C) like someone else mentioned, it switches every so often mid-shower and will turn scorching hot for about 30 seconds at a time. When management changed, things got way better and I appreciate that, but it unfortunately doesn’t change how unlivable these apartments are. If they still don’t send someone to fix my AC, I will update this review with how the lawsuit is going. I’ve lived in 12 apartments. Some of which were cheaper than this and comparable in age/neighborhood. This is the lowest of the low.
