    I current live here and have been living here since October 2024. Gables Republic Tower is Awesome! The view is amazing especially for the price. I love the staff who have been amazing with getting repairs done in a timely manner. My apartment had leaking issues. It was fully repaired with minor issues but the fact that they took out the walls which gives me a sense of relief in knowing that I don’t have to deal with mold. I lived in an apartment in which I had a ceiling leak and it was not ...
    repaired properly that lead to me dealing with mold. Management at that apartment did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Well, that’s not the car with Republic Towers. I haven’t had any issues with the elevators since I’ve been here. What I like the most is that there are less apartments on each floor. Needless to say, I’m going to live here FOREVER! Great location, great parking, great staff, etc! There is no perfect apartment but Republic Towers is perfect for me!

    The inside of the apartments are nice and most come with a view of the city. The maintenance staff is also friendly. The issue is the elevators are always down. It can take up to 25 minutes for an elevator which is unacceptable with a building that houses over 200 people. Would not recommend living here.

    I would love to be able to post a positive review. Love the location and it's one of the few buildings downtown with decent visitor parking. However, elevator situation has made this building unbearable at times. LITERAL wait for the elevator is consistently 30 minutes as of late. While the management at the building is apologetic and equally frustrated, that doesn't make the situation any more bearable. There is a capital investment that needs to be made that Gables corporate isn't willing to ...

    Living at Gables is a good experience. Location, apartment size, and soundproof walls are my favorites. Admittedly, the upkeep of the building has gone down since covid. Could be due to staffing issues. Hopefully corporate can get the upkeep and maintenance back on track to make experience living here even better.

    I've enjoyed living here for the last 9 years. The location is everything for me and in walking distance. Close to deep ellum and uptown. I wish it were cheaper though.

    I’ve been a resident for a year and a half and don’t regret my decision in any way. The bldg is quite and secure. Any issues I may have had are handled by the Gables staff in a timely manner. Love the location; close to my favorite restaurants and shopping.

    elevators are always breaking. parking garage is always dirty and people are breaking in, smoking cigarettes and marijuana in the garage. maintenance is slow and unresponsive.

    Moved in 1 yr ago and still love living here. Quiet, met some great residents, office staff is great. Not one issue in a year. My views are fantastic from my windows. Easy for friends and family to visit.
