These maximums incomes & assets guidelines are set under the LIHTC "Affordable Housing Program" from Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA). The maximum income guidelines are based on the average median income (AMI) for Wayne County. To qualify, residents gross income must fall between the minimum and maximum income guidelines (see chart below). Other Qualification Requirements: In addition, all applicants over 18 must pass credit and criminal background check plus history verification. Maximum occupancy for 2 Bdrm is 5 people. Maximum occupancy for 3 Bdrm is 7 people.
