Apartment is full of pest. Spiders, big roaches, silverfish, ants and mosquitoes. Maintenance don’t keep up with cleaning. It’s really bad in the summer. Security lets anyone in, & no parking for guest. The paint is horrible in apt. Dealt with mold numerous times. Not a place to live. Best thing I did was move!

Not very secure. Parking spaces are small. Lots of pests in the summer. Ask for move in inspection they do not provide one when you sign the lease and make sure to fill it out.

Tons of ants in the summer

Tons of ants, spiders and mosquitoes everywhere, ants especially in the summer
the water in the shower never gets hot to steam that little bathroom
Dog poop everywhere, a dog attacked kid, nothing was done
The front desk won't hold pkgs, the guards will do nothing if someone's car alarm going off 3a or if there's domestic violence they won't even call the police
THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING AVAILABLE for guests, everyone double parks and if u do find a space in the building they have to ...
leave at midnight
No matter what time in the morning afternoon or night people play VERY LOUD music from their cars and won't be asked to turn it down
The rent set doesn't include the shared water/ trash bill added monthly and they will raise that rent as much as they legally can no matter what pandemic or natural disaster has occurred

I moved in in June 2018 and have been having a problem ever since. It’s october and there’s a terrible problem with ants. No matter how often clean, ants are EVERYWHERE. “Pest control” has come and seems like they don’t do sh*t because there’s still ants. Terrible slipped on paint job, cracks everywhere, and you have to continue to call and email for something to be done. There’s all types of bugs and insects here it’s ridiculous! No central air and they have an ancient heater. Makes sense now ...
why they trap you in a year 1/2 lease! I can’t wait to leave here. Mgmt only responds quickly to you when are moving in because they want the money. Only thing that’s good is it’s quiet and people mind their business...a lot of older people so no rift raft. Other than that this place is horrible. I wouldn’t recommend living here at ALL! Unless you are desperate like i was for a place smh.

Gloria Homes Apartments managed by Jones & Jones is known for towing cars. My car was towed this morning 12/21/16 for expired registration from my parking space. I called the leasing office (they were rude, of course) they said they had given me several warnings. I asked them to send copies of those warnings, because I had not received any on my car, email, or phone. The warnings listed a grey Toyota Corolla. I have a grey Toyota Corolla. However, the dates and times on the aforementioned tickets ...
were assigned to me while me and my car was at work. License plate number on the tickets are different from my own. And to top it all off my registration is NOT expired. Yet and still I had to pay alot of money to get my car from Southside tow and recovery, who apparently tows cars for no reason at all.

Gloria apartments are great. They have 24 hours security and a great neighbors. They provide great maintenance assistance as well as amenities such car ports laundry rooms and safety surveillance. It can improve tremendously still. For instance small designated play yards for children, bigger laundry rooms, better parking monitoring, bigger car ports. But this only means that they will charge us more for rent. So kind of makes you wish that they leave everything alone.

What I love most about gloria homes is how peaceful it is. I have lived here for almost three years and I can't say that I've ever had a problem with it being too noisy or people hanging out.At first I was like did i.move into some type of cult or some because I never saw other people I would see all these cars parked here but never saw the people that they belonged to so after awhile I just realized that's just how it is here and I love it.

I would just like to say that I stay in Gloria Homes Apartments and it has been such a nice experience, assigned parking, newly remodeled, brand new carpet, brand new cabinets, stainless steel sink, all appliances included and they are all BRAND NEW, I pay my rent online and save $50 a month just for doing that, not to mention this is a working class environment and a feel safe, apartment is spacious with lots of closet space as well, quite simply this is home!!!!!!! Wait one more thing I love ...

The overall apartment is in good shape. Little problems like cracks in the corners, not well-done paint jobs, and creaking sounds from the floor hint for a quick fix up.
In addition, the cable for my television is in a closet. Makes absolutely no sense.
