Great apt and staff

Clean, secure, underground heated garage, elevator, reasonable rent, awesome staff, and timely contacts when needed and spacious common hallways. Not much reasonable priced on north side so was glad we found Granite ridge apt from a friend who has lived here since they opened. Love our 1 bedroom with a den. Nice space. We requested 4th floor facing airport runway and that is what we have. Just signed our 2nd lease.

Jan 15th, 2023 I called Maintenance and asked if they could go into my apartment to check if I had possibly left my curling iron on. I had $300 worth in cash sitting on my kitchen bar stool. I would be charged $55 for the inconvenience fee which I was aware of. I came back home to see that my $300 in cash was missing. I called maintenance and asked if he knew where the money had gone. He responded that I must’ve left my door unlocked before he came in and someone else took it and that he did not ...
take it. I said I would check my cameras (at the time I did not have any cameras inside of my apartment though if he took it he’d return it to avoid any reports made against him), I informed them of the situation and they had let me know that someone had returned $245 in cash.As I mentioned earlier the fee to be charged to have maintenance is$55,which had seemed to be already taken out of my money. They then charged me two times($55)for the inconvenience fee on the online portal. I decided not to make any police reports since the money had been returned and believe there would no longer be any issues moving forward.I indeed decided to then get a camera put into my apartment.month later my heater stopped working, I let the office know and it took them 2 months to fix my heater. During the winter. I then proceeded to get noise complaints from my apartment saying that I had been making loud noising as if I was partying until 2am. I have two jobs, one is day shift and the other is 3rd shift. From my 3rd shift I do not get home until approx 4am. I do have footage of me coming home at this time. The only time I did make loud noises was in the beginning of my lease for my birthday in August of 2022. I take full responsibility for that, after that I made sure to be more mindful & to not let it happen again. I decided best thing I would do for both myself and the office was to end my lease early b/c I no longer felt welcomed. My lease ended in July. I decided to leave in April. I thought leaving my tenancy there would be the end of these issues though I have been proved wrong. May 12, 2023 i applied for a new apartment, they had gave me the worst housing reference to the property manager and sabotaged my chances of getting approved.thankfully i had four other rental references that would vouch otherwise.Overall, the office seems to be extremely shady & mendacious.And has a lot of animosity towards me which is unprofessional & staggering.

Find Somewhere Else To Rent

Apartment Complex smells like marijuana everyday, especially on 4th floor. Neighbors are very disrespectful and play loud music throughout the night. Neighborhood has a lot of crime and barely any guest parking. For what you pay it is not worth it. Laundry is a joke 1.50 per wash/dry and the machines are always broke

Granite Ridge is a wonderful place to live!

I really enjoyed my time at Granite Ridge. It feels like luxury living but at an affordable price! The kitchen was my favorite part of my place, very generous countertops and cabinet space. The floors are beautiful and easy to clean. The bathroom also has a lot of space, is beautiful and easy to get ready in. I had an apartment on the top floor, and it had a really beautiful view. good time. The third floor community room was also a nice place to chill and chat with someone too. The courtyard in the Spring and Summer is really great, gorgeous scenery, nice grilling area, and a good place for outdoor fun. Maintenance does a great job fixing issues and is good about following up to make sure things are still going well. It's right next to the police station and securely locked, so I felt really safe living there too. It was so hard to move on to my next place, I really miss my time there.

Great Apartments

Granite Ridge is a very nice apartment building. Management really takes care of the property; they respond very quickly to any questions or maintenance issues. It is a security locked building, it's right across the street from the police station. I feel very safe, haven't had any problems. I’m really happy living here.

Nice Space

These apartments are really affordable. Every unit has a storage closet and has access to the courtyard. The community grills are well maintained and everyone living here respects everyones supplies in the outdoor storage area. The only con I could see is the area but still is not that bad. It's close to Warner Park and is in walking distance to the farmers markets on Sundays. Would recommend.

Okay For The North Side

Apartments are nice, while the location isn't. While I lived there, a hostage situation took place in the building next door along with a few shootings. My girlfriend at the time didn't feel safe walking around outside by her self as people would cat call her aggressively and follow her. The management was rigid and uncompromising. Don't expect anything outside their unreasonable set of rules. Certainly not any favors, even if you plan on being a long term tenant. My advice, find somewhere ...
else to live if you can.

Well maintained property and responsive staff

I lived at Granite Ridge for only one year. I would have stayed longer, but I purchased a home. The building was very well maintained, adequate security, and extremely prompt staff when it came to repairs, and communication. There is some noise through walls and ceilings, but there is an obvious expectation you will hear neighbors from time to time when living in an apartment building. I would highly recommend.
