I have been a resident at 699 Gravenstein Hwy N Apartments since early 2004 and have witnessed many changes. I have seen more than 6 property managers come and go, been here for a siding changes, as well as what Burbank called a "complete rehab to the inside and out". In the 17 years I have been here I've seen management pick and choose who can break the rules without consequences. "rehab" Burbank is cheap when it comes to repairs or any "improvements". Essentially, Burbank has put lipstick on a pig. For the "rehab" all residents were relocated while their unit was being renovated only to come back to cheap shotty changes that began to fall apart immediately after moving back in, or simply weren't done properly to begin with. Burbank has capped and locked all water spouts so that the residents cannot use them. They chose to reduce the size of the laundry room in favor of a community room rather than increasing the 6 each washers and dryers for an over crowded 60 unit complex. I haven't used the laundry facilities for many years due to availability. I can go on with a laundry list of problems here at Gravenstein North however, Burbank Housing is about their bottom line. I have known people who have lived here when the complex was new in 1987 and lived here myself for 17 years, in all this time I have witnessed the complex go down hill. If I could afford to move I would have done so many years ago, I would not move here again.
