"So, you rented a beautiful apartment in Orlando, Florida, but your life doesn't seem complete. Sure, the sunshine-dominated weather is to die for, and the nightlife is crackling, but the call for higher learning is still nagging at your heels. Seize the day, stop worrying and enroll in the University of Central Florida! The University of Central Florida was founded in 1963 as Florida Technological College, with the goal of providing highly trained personnel to support the Kennedy Space Center. In 1978, the name was changed to the University of Central Florida as its academic focus had expanded to encompass all academic fields. Today it is one of the largest undergraduate universities in the state of Florida, offering Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degrees. If you are attending UCF as a new student, you should be aware that the school, fittingly, has specific requirements. The college requires that your SAT and or ACT scores be at least in the mid-range for entrance, so have them on the higher side to be safe! But even if you meet the minimum requirements for entrance, the University does not guarantee admission, the college only admits those whose ""credentials indicate the greatest promise of academic success."" There are many opportunities to live close to campus for those preferring a private abode, and some of the apartments even offer student rates and other discounts in the efforts to attract yearly renters. For those willing to travel to school, the apartment option has a lot to offer - waiting lists for apartments are rare, they can be rented anytime of the year regardless of the semester, and if you want to have a roommate, you choose who you want to live with. Many of the rentable apartments are also close to transit routes that run through town and close by. So if you are a student in the area attending UCF, find your new home at one of the many apartment options at ApartmentHomeLiving.com. "
