Just moved in at one of their renovated units and it was in perfect conditions. Budget friendly, quiet neighborhood, clean, easy application process & great staff. However, an on-site gym would be appreciated!!

Mold, bugs, trash, crime, abandoned vehicles, disrespectful neighbors, no sense of community, no buzzer for visitor/delivery access, hot water and heat issues, A/C units to small to cool apartments, poor management and maintenance, significant increase in rent during lease renewal and a radio mast towering hundreds of feet over the entire property. Would not recommend to friends or family.

I have never lived anywhere that has lied to their tenants more than this place. when we moved in we were promised an updated fully remodeled apartment=lie number 1. we got stuck in an apartment with BLACK MOLD and many mechanical issues. our garbage disposal wasnt working until we fixed it ourselves. matenance has too much on his plate with this entire complex for 1 man.
we then transfered to a smaller 1 bedroom un updated apartment on the "garden level" meaning half above and half above ...
ground.
We have had black mold so bad in the closet that the drywall was rotting and support beams were visable. next it spread out of the closet and up the wall behind our bed. they then removed a sliver of drywall and had us run a dehumidifier 24/7 to dry out the wall. note they did use a moisture meater to check for leaks but the entire thing needed to be replaced, not bleached and repainted.
Now comes the worst part: Roaches in our kitchen. When we told the office staff that we had roaches they pretended that we just had beetles and told us that it was our fault, but an exterminator would come take a look. now we are 2 treatments into it and the roaches are not gone and if we move out they may come with us.
we pay for a 1 bedroom 1 bath and have been able to use only our livingroom and bathroom without a massive issue.
we are due in July with our daughter and I am afraid of birth defects from this dumpster of an apartment complex.
our neighbors above us constantly fight and cops have been called many times. the apartment had not been cleaned between tenants and caused allergic reations from myself because of pet dander/mold. I would give this place negative stars if that was possible.
Our neighbors constantly peep into our windows constantly and accuse us of stealing from them when we work constantly and have nor been home. we dont even know who they are let alone if any of them are sex offenders or felons.
Plenty of kids here that attend Grand Rapids Public, but none of them are outside and playing.
we are moving out ASAP due to the issues stated above and many more.
Do not live here unless you want to live in a drug and violence infested slum!!
note: The office staff have been kind to our faces, and have not done anything other than band-aid our isses for future residents to deal with.

Horrible customer service, Mold, Loud noises from heater

Do not move here. The hallways look beat up. Apartment Heater was making horrible noises all winter, complained all winter for 2 seasons and finally was moved into a different apartment because mold was everywhere including damaging about 1000 worth of our property. They blamed it on us but we have never had mold grow in any apartment before. Their response time is horrible. Asked corporate to call took them two weeks, Manager was supposed to come tour new apartment with us but missed the ...
appointment and finally called a day later stating emergency happened after we took off work to be there. Would not move here. Do not recommend this company.

Pretty sure they used to pay for water too and the prices went up. Also in my moving experience with them they threw out 1000’s of dollars worth of things also pictures and memories that can never be restored . There is not a day where I do not think of something that was lost and do not either cry or feel very sad about all the things that were lost. And one of the worst things was they didn’t even call before throwing it all away. Also they probably sold some of the valuables (like the 14ish ...

I have lived at Greenfield Apartments for almost five years. It seems to be a very safe place for children and animals as I am a single mom. It has a good Commons area for a garden that you can grow fruits and veggies. It offers a swimming pool by the office as well as washers and dryers as there are non in the apartments. I would love to win free rent for life, that would just be awesome!!!!!!

I cannot possibly say enough positive about Greenfield apartments! The apartment community is very clean and comfortable. They promote a community unification thru monthly events at the club house. It creates a small town feel where everyone knows their neighbor. The community room and pool is clean and convenient. The staff is courteous, helpful and wonderful to deal with. The bonus for me is it is only a 10 minute drive to downtown AND most of the malls are within a 20 minute drive! Having 2 ...
