Formal Complaint Regarding Unauthorized Entry Into My Apartment

I am writing to formally report an incident that occurred this morning involving management entering my apartment without my permission while I was occupying the unit.
Yesterday, I received a message instructing residents to place their fire extinguishers outside their doors for inspection. I had not yet had an opportunity to place mine outside when, at approximately 9:55 AM this morning, a member of management entered my apartment without my permission.

that management intended to enter my apartment if the fire extinguisher had not been placed outside by a particular time. I also did not consent to anyone entering my apartment this morning. The message instructed me to place the fire extinguisher outside. It did not notify me that management would enter my apartment at approximately 9:55 AM if I had not yet done so.
After the entry occurred, I contacted the rental office and expressed my concern. I was told that management has a “right of entry.” I understand that a lease may provide management with certain rights of access under appropriate circumstances. However, I strongly object to the manner in which entry into my occupied apartment occurred this morning without specific notice that anyone would be entering my unit.
I also want corporate management to be aware of an additional concern that makes today’s incident particularly troubling. I have had several outstanding maintenance requests over approximately the last two months that have not been addressed. During that time, no one has attempted to enter my apartment to complete those requested repairs.
It is extremely concerning that management was able to enter my apartment this morning regarding a fire extinguisher that I had been instructed to place outside my door, yet multiple maintenance issues that I have specifically requested assistance with have remained unresolved for weeks.
Those unresolved maintenance issues are a significant reason I have decided to terminate my tenancy and move from this property. I have repeatedly sought assistance regarding conditions inside my apartment, yet those requests have not resulted in the same urgency demonstrated by management this morning.
I am requesting that corporate management review today’s entry, the notice that was provided to residents, my outstanding maintenance requests, the property’s entry procedures, and the applicable provisions of my lease.
