Very Disappointing Experience with Hartley by Porte

I am extremely disappointed with my experience living at Hartley by Porte. As a new homeowner, I expected better construction quality, workmanship, and customer service.
Only about a month after moving in, we experienced a significant plumbing leak caused by a missing plumbing component. The leak resulted in water damage and required restoration work in our bedroom. What has been even more frustrating is the way the restoration and follow-up repairs have been handled.

reinstalled in a condition that was clearly not the same as the original. There was a large visible gap between the baseboard and carpet, and even after further work, the finishing still does not look properly restored. We have also experienced other workmanship and finishing issues, including damaged/chipped cabinetry and bathroom components requiring attention.
What concerns me most is not just that problems occurred in a brand-new home, but the difficulty getting them properly resolved. Communication and customer service have been very disappointing, and at times I felt that my concerns were not being taken seriously.
As a homeowner who has made a significant investment in a new property, I believe the expectation should be simple: when something goes wrong, the developer should take responsibility and restore the property to the condition it was supposed to be in—not provide incomplete or poor-quality repairs and expect the homeowner to accept them.
I am sharing my experience so prospective buyers can carefully consider the quality of construction, after-sales service, and warranty support before making such a significant investment.
