Unfair charges
August 29, 2024My experience was problematic from the beginning. The manager exhibited a level of rudeness and unprofessionalism that was both surprising and unacceptable. Every interaction with the office staff was met with dismissive attitudes and a lack of genuine concern for tenant issues. Their conduct made dealing with them a highly frustrating experience. In addition to poor management, the apartment itself was infested with roaches, despite repeated requests for pest control (because the manager kept ...forgetting to add my apartment to the list). The persistent presence of these pests created a very uncomfortable and unhealthy living environment. To make matters worse, the charges upon moving out were excessively high. I was billed for painting and cleaning at rates that seemed far beyond what was reasonable, especially considering the condition of the apartment and the quality of the services provided. Overall, the real issue is the manager to be clear. She failed to deliver a satisfactory living experience in terms of both management and apartment conditions. Not worth it
March 9, 2023The apartment look nice and in decent area but there is a roach problem and the managers are unprofessional and don't do their job. Never respond back and are hardly in the office. The gates hardly don't work and most residents have key fobs that don't work. Someone was murdered here not too long ago and its noisy with thin walls.Review from Apartments.com
Poor management
January 6, 2023I currently live in the Havens for 6 years and since they changed management a year ago, the customer service has gone down the drain. There used to be enough help at the front desk to help with any problem you brought forward. I have been having trouble with extra charges added to my monthly rent and I have raised this issue for the past 4 months with unending false promises. The walls are so thin you literally can hear your neighbors discussions. The only working front desk lady has a lot to ...attend to and despite paying a lot for rent, problems go for a long time without fixing. The insecurity is on another level. Home break ins and car break ins are happening ALOT 2018
October 29, 2018I moved in at the beginning of the year. I read the reviews on apartmentratings.com and google and yelp. There were a lot of negative reviews about the manager, Merissa H. I thought well maybe those people were not getting something they had asked for or something along those lines. After moving in I realized those reviews were accurate. People were not lying, Merissa is rude and is condescending towards residents. I went to the office to talk to Merissa about my car being broken into and she ...made it seem that it was my fault my car got broken into. She had the audacity to imply that I probably left the car door unlocked. That made me really mad because I always make sure my doors are locked and the fact that she made me feel like it was my fault was the last straw. She did not notify the community that my car was broken into, my neighbors only knew what had happened because i took it upon myself to post a letter in my breezeway. Two days later my upstairs neighbor's apartment was broken into. She was devastated, her cat got out, her valuables were stolen. Her cat was found two streets over 3 days later. The manager did not send notification of what occurred. She will not let residents know of the crime, and acts like she has no idea crime is happening. My apartment is up in February and believe me I will be moving out. Merissa is very rude and its sad because she has a customer service job, we are the reason she has a job. Also there are roaches in the unit and rats. When i reported this issue to the management team all they said was well pest control will be here next week. Nobody came to inspect my apartment for holes, this place is a joke. If you are noise sensitive do not live on the first or second floor because you will hear ppl walking all the time, you will also hear their conversations at night. Its really sad how bad this community is, by far the worst mistake ive made. There are alot more nicer communities in the area that will appreciate you as a resident.
